  1. 'Scotland need more of the ball'

    Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Graeme Souness

    Former Scotland international on ITV

Quote Message: You can see once Croatia get in front they grow in stature, they grow in confidence, they can sense blood. We can't afford to go behind again. We have to get more of the ball.
  2. KICK-OFF

    Croatia 1-1 Scotland

Here we go again... Strap yourselves in for the next 45 minutes.

  3. A timely goal keeps Scotland hopes alive

    HT: Croatia 1-1 Scotland

Quote Message: Callum McGregor is the first Scottish player to score in a Euros since June 18, 1996, when Ally McCoist netted against Switzerland. In between, Scotland had 46 shots without finding the net from Opta
    Opta
  4. 'Midfield balance' an issue for Scotland

    HT: Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Billy Dodds

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: We had problems in midfield again. The balance we had against England when one of the strikers dropped back to pick up a midfielder was good. The strikers aren't dropping in on Brozovic and giving him too much space.
  5. McGregor on a mission

    HT: Croatia 1-1 Scotland

As well as that rousing goal, Callum McGregor has hit his man with every single pass so far. 16/16. Composure.

  6. 'Brilliant strike' from McGregor

    HT: Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: It's just a brilliant strike from McGregor. And we did need that because we were not in this game. It just goes up the other end of the park. We keep it moving down the right side, its not cleared properly as it comes back to the box from the left and falls to McGregor.
  7. HALF-TIME Croatia 1-1 Scotland

Scotland are right back in it after that fabulous goal from Callum McGregor.

He picked a good time to get his first international goal, didn't he?

It was starting to look a little ominous, with Croatia dominating possession and growing in confidence after that opener from Nikola Vlasic.

  8. England ahead at the break

    HT: Czech Republic 0-1 England

    Alasdair Lamont

    BBC Sport Scotland at Wembley

I'm trying to keep my shape in the Wembley press box but unlike many of the crowd here, I rather enjoyed that one from Callum McGregor. As for this game, the Czechs still in it but England have had chances to extend their lead.

  9. 'The game is lit up for us now'

    Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Neil McCann

Former Scotland winger on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: When we get into the final third and ask questions of Croatia they don't like it. Andy Robertson gets the ball in, but when it comes to McGregor he still has so much to do. He takes a good touch and you're just thinking, 'hit the target son', and didn't he just - he smashed it into the bottom corner. The game's lit up for us now.
  10. Post update

    Croatia 1-1 Scotland

We're into two minutes of stoppage time before half-time.

    It's bedlam inside the stadium...

  11. As things stand...

Right now, all Scotland's equaliser will do is eliminate Croatia.

But a Scottish win and they're into the knockout stages.

    Group D
  12. We are Scotland, can you hear us?

    Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Scott Mullen

    BBC Scotland at Hampden

    Euro 2020, Scotland have arrived.

"No Scotland, no party!!" rasps its way around Hampden. Callum McGregor sprints to the corner flag, eyes staring, jaw wide opened, arm flailing. The emotion is incredible.

    Scotland is life.

  13. GOAL - Croatia 1-1 Scotland

    Callum McGregor

    What a hit!

Croatia fail to clear their lines after crosses from Stuart Armstrong and Andy Robertson and the ball falls to Callum McGregor near the edge of the box.

Lovely technique from the Celtic midfielder as he arrows a low shot into the corner of the net.

    Game on!

    Croatia 1-0 Scotland

Ivan Perisic cuts in from the left and goes by Stephen O'Donnell with ease before blazing a shot high and wide.

  16. YELLOW CARD (McKenna)

    Croatia 1-0 Scotland

Scott McKenna is booked before he's touched the ball as he clatters into Bruno Petkovic.

  17. McKenna on for Hanley

Grant Hanley cannot continue and Nottingham Forest central defender Scott McKenna is on in his place.

  18. Post update

    Croatia 1-0 Scotland

Concern for Scotland defender Grant Hanley as he drops to the turf, with what looks like a knee problem.
