Croatia 1-0 Scotland
Scotland respond with a good spell of pressure as a dinked header from John McGinn just eludes Lyndon Dykes and Che Adams at the back post.
The ball is quickly recycled and McGinn manages to steer an instinctive shot on target from 16 yards but there's no power on it to beat the keeper.

I can tell you that Croatia goal was greeted with plenty of cheers and a chorus of "Scotland's Going Home" at Wembley. And it was flashed up on my monitor before I saw it happen on screen, which was even more annoying.
CLOSE!
Croatia 1-0 Scotland
Croatia skipper Luka Modric has a lot of room to look up and fire in a rising shot from 20 yards. David Marshall helps the ball over the crossbar, but again the officials fail to see the last touch. Goal kick.

Two pockets of Hampden explode into a blurry mess of red and white as the ball hits the net. The Scotland support attempt to rouse their team, but they're struggling to lift themselves.
In truth, it was all too easy. The intensity of pressing seen against England at Wembley just hasn't been there. While Scotland have been organised, we've already seen flashes of them being too reactionary. What a reaction we need now.

Nikola Vlasic
Oh dear. A deep cross from the left is met by Ivan Perisic, who climbs above Stephen O'Donnell at the back post. His header is cushioned by Nikola Vlasic, who prods a low shot into the corner with his second touch.

A round of applause for David Marshall as the Scotland goalkeeper comes haring out of his penalty area to hammer the ball clear and break up a dangerous Croatia attack.

After an early warning off the post, Raheem Sterling scores his second goal of the tournament, heading in at the back post from a Jack Grealish cross. Confident start by England, who will top the group with a win.

Croatia 0-0 Scotland
A nice move from Scotland ends with Stephen O'Donnell rifling in a cross from the right but it's too close to the keeper, who gathers comfortably.
Adams up in the air

Here's a look at that early chance for Che Adams. He wasn't far away from making contact.

You can already see Modric playing a good 20 yards further forward than he did against the Czechs. Brozovic seems to be the man trying to link defence into attack, while Modric has already made two or three ghosting runs into the box.
Please stop.

Che Adams has a pop from 25 yards and his deflected shot bounces wide. The Scotland striker pleads for a corner but the officials failed to spot the last touch.
CLOSE!
Croatia 0-0 Scotland
John McGinn cuts in from the left and floats a lovely cross towards the back post. Che Adams is up but can't quite get there with an outstretched foot and the goalie flaps it away.

Croatia 0-0 Scotland
The din dies down a tad as Croatia venture forward but the Scotland defence are packed in tightly and soon repel the threat.
