    Emil Forsberg

    Oh, HELLO.

Sweden aren't hanging about. Alexander Isak holds it up on the edge of the box, Emil Forsberg takes it off him, weaves into the box and smacks it into the far corner.

82 seconds. Swift. Coach Jan Andersson fist pumps in the dugout.

How things stand in Group E...

Don't forget Sweden have already qualified but could still finish third with a loss this evening and Spain (pretty much) need to win to go through.

If Slovakia, Sweden and Poland all finish on four points (ahead of Spain on three), they will be split on goal difference from matches between the three teams.

If that's not blown your mind completely, head here to find out more.

You don't win these major tournaments in the group stage. Look at Portugal in the last Euros and France in the 2018 World Cup.

Spain, England or France; squeeze through the group and anything is possible.

Alexander Isak completed six dribbles in their 1-0 win over Slovakia, the most by a Swedish player in a Euros match since Tomas Brolin completed seven against Denmark at Euro 92.

Khan Karn: Spain is lacking creativity this tournament. Has Thiago Alcantara, one of the best passer of his generation and leaves him on the bench...

Guy Hide: Slightly more positive line up from Spain, although I would have loved to have seen Thiago (who can actually thread a pass) start ahead of Koke. Still, glad to see the back of Olmo, who should be nowhere near their starting 11.

If you look at the last World Cup and at the qualifications, Sweden have managed their transition period from older to newer generation well.

It's still very much the identify of a Swedish national team with the organisation and defensive mindset, but the players coming through now like Isak, like Forsberg, they are very un-Swedish in the way they play football.

Slovakia are unbeaten in their final group-stage game at both of their previous two major tournaments, winning 3-2 against Italy at the 2010 World Cup and drawing 0-0 with England at Euro 2016. They have progressed from the group stages at both previous tournaments.
