Italy 2-0 Austria
Austria are giving it a good go.
They move it around the box well but Marcel Sibitzer loses it in a good position.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo brings it out for Italy, sprints all the way down the other end and flashes a shot wide. He then races back to get into position to defend.

The difference tonight has been the Italy's substitutions, the Italian strength in depth.
Italy are an extremely versatile team and you look through their team and there are so many players that can play different positions.
This second half of extra-time for Italy is just about seeing it through. Austria have been absolutely brilliant and I feel for them. They've put so much into this game, but they just don't have the firepower

Just for a minute it looked in from where we were sat. It was a good save. He got down really sharpish to his left.

Woah! Almost in!
Gianluigi Donnarumma has to get down sharply to his left as it's whipped at him with some pace from the edge of the box by Austrian substitute Louis Schaub!

Simo: Probably good for the competition, but have to feel for Austria.

It's exactly what they have been missing a bit of quality in the final third. Mancini has put his two subs on and they've worked perfectly for them. Two bits of quality, two very good goals.

It's a story for Italy of super subs. Austria have given this absolutely everything, but Italy's quality has been the difference in this game. In extra-time Italy have been by far the better team.
Looks like it's over for Austria.
HALF-TIME OF EXTRA TIME
Italy 2-0 Austria
Italy are almost there.

Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One
It's good play from Insigne and when it falls to Pessina he was nice and calm. Took it onto his left foot and was really accomplished. That really is Everest for Austria.
GOAL - Italy 2-0 Austria
Matteo Pessina
GAME OVER.
Lorenzo Insigne fizzes it into the middle. Andrea Belotti scrambles for it on the floor and it pops out for Matteo Pessina.
He smashes it into the far corner.
Italy are heading to the quarter-finals unless Austria can pull something special out of the bag.

It could have been game over there. The problem is when it's far out it gives the keeper chance to get over. He moves his feet well and it's a good save from Bachmann.
GREAT SAVE!
Italy 1-0 Austria
What a strike!
Italy create a wall of their own in front of the Austria wall to block the view of keeper Daniel Bachmann and it almost works.
Lorenzo Insigne curls it beautifully over the top and it's heading into the top corner before Bachmann pulls off the save!

Donnarumma is such a presence. He's an absolute monster in that Italian goal.
YELLOW CARD
Italy 1-0 Austria
Italy break. It's two-on-one and Lorenzo Insigne is coming up on the left-hand side.
Andrea Belotti tries to cut inside instead and he's brought down by Martin Hinteregger. Yellow card. Took one for the team.
Post update
Italy 1-0 Austria
It's Austria who have the ball. Italy are back in numbers to defend. David Alaba plays it out wide but Florian Grillitsch's cross won't cause any problems.

David Mitchell-Baker: The best teams find a way when the going gets tough, that's one of the best goals of the tournament from Chiesa
Owen: Somewhat reminiscent of Bergkamp v Argentina, although not quite the same levels of perfection. Imagine Chiesa will be ok with that, though...
Josh Earl: Brilliant pass and a wonderful take from Chiesa. Excellent player.
