  8. Post update

    HT: Sweden 1-1 Ukraine

    Freddie Ljungberg

Former Sweden international on BBC One

Quote Message: Forsberg gets lucky but if you don't shoot you don't score! We'll take that luck every day of the week
  9. 'No chance for keeper'

    HT: Sweden 1-1 Ukraine

    Martin Keown

Former England defender on BBC One

Quote Message: The deflection gives the keeper absolutely no chance. Forsberg is scoring plenty of goals in this competition! This game is far more open than I expected it to be

    HT: Sweden 1-1 Ukraine

    Pat Nevin

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Quote Message: In the form he’s in right now, he was always going to hit that. Yes, he gets lucky, but Forsberg is flying

  11. HALF-TIME

    Sweden 1-1 Ukraine

And there goes the half-time whistle. All square at a sun-drenched Hampden. I'm away to sneeze my head off for the next 15 minutes while desperately hunting for an antihistamine in the Hampden press room. Back shortly...

    *achoo*

  12. GOAL Sweden 1-1 Ukraine

    Emil Forsberg

My oh my. It's a funny old game, Saint.

From nowhere, Sweden are level, and you have to feel for Ukraine. Emil Forsberg is fed the ball from 25 yards, he hits a pop with his left foot, and a wicked deflection takes it away from Bushchan in goal to sen one half of Hampden wild.

Forsberg celebrates with frenzied passion. He knows how important that goal is just before half-time. Game on!

  13. No penalty!

    Sweden 0-1 Ukraine

Shouts for a penalty from the Sweden fans as Kulusevski darts into the Ukraine box and then jumps into the back of Matviyenko. No thanks, says Mr Orsata in the middle.

You know it's not even close when there's not a whiff of a VAR check. Play on!

  14. Post update

    Sweden 0-1 Ukraine

    Right, back to the game...

Just over five minutes remain of the first half and Sweden are showing tentative signs of pushing for an equaliser here. Having said that, Bushchan in goal hasn't really had a save to make since his side went ahead.

Ukraine are sitting deep, but looking steady so far.

  15. How many angles of that goal?

It looks better with each one. What technique!

  16. Post update

So, as it stands, it will be Ukraine taking on England on Saturday in Rome. England fans, you happy with that?

  17. 'A hit-and-a-half!'

    Sweden 0-1 Ukraine

    Pat Nevin

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Quote Message: That is a hit-and-a-half from Zinchenko!
  18. 'Sublime'

    Sweden 0-1 Ukraine

    Martin Keown

Former England defender on BBC One

Quote Message: Zinchenko hits it beautifully. Sublime. He comes onto it with his eyes on the ball and smacks it home. It was a flowing move
  19. GOAL Sweden 0-1 Ukraine

    Oleksandr Zinchenko

    Wow.

A goal of supreme quality from Ukraine. A quite magnificent ball from Andriy Yarmolenko with the outside of his boot has the ball gliding gracefully across the Sweden box towards Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is unmarked on the left. The Manchester City man keeps his eye on the ball, swings his boot perfectly and arrows a stunning volley across Olsen.

The Swedish keeper gets a hand on it, but that's unstoppable.
