    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at the Madejski Stadium

It is fair to say that both managers are focused more on the Championship than the FA Cup, based on the respective team announcements.

Visitors Cardiff make seven changes from their last league match, with Alex Smithies, Joe Bennett, Gavin Whyte and Leandro Bacuna retaining their places.

  2. 'Brentford fans have changed it'published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2020

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brentford have got better as this second half has gone on and it's not just the players - the fans have changed it, they've kept on going, they've got louder and louder. There's a real buzz around at the moment.

That was just a great cross in, Dervisoglu got on the end of it and he was so unlucky.

  3. 'Brentford are by far the better team this half'published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2020

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Match of the Day Live

Brentford have been by far the better team in this second half. That last opportunity was their best one. That's what happens when you get the ball in the box.

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Match of the Day Live

He's been brilliant today Christian Fuchs. He clears the first one, he's switched on to that scenario, then gets his body in between himself and his man for the second.

Emiliano Marcondes actually got a touch on that ball in from Jan Zamburek...

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Match of the Day Live

Leicester have got to be careful here. They are giving away a few silly fouls in a few silly areas. The game's got a bit scrappy over the last five minutes.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2020

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Christian Fuchs, take a bow!

He keeps Leicester in front with two smart pieces of defending. The first is to clear a cross from the left and when it comes firing back in, he reacts when it bounces off the inside of the right post to hook it away before Joel Valencia can poke it in.

    So close for Brentford!!

West Brom manager Slaven Bilic on facing his former employers: "It's a big game, of course. Big stadium, big opponent and a big test for us. But it's just a normal game.

"You are the target when you come up against a team in a lower division to you. The players are motivated because they want to test themselves against the higher teams.

"It's great to go through in the FA Cup but we have to think about our game against Cardiff on Tuesday, which is the priority and I have no problem saying that."

Just a little bit predictable that free-kick, wasn't it!

  15. 'Wes Morgan played Sunday league with my dad'published at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2020

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Match of the Day Live

I was in the Nottingham Forest youth team with Wes Morgan. He used to play in the same Sunday league team as my dad. We would play on a Saturday morning then he would turn out with my dad the following day. I know him well, he's a good professional with a good head on his shoulders. He's the leader at the football club. Maintains standards, even when he's not playing.

Jan Zamburek darts inside and is tripped by Demarai Gray. Emiliano Marcondes tries to play a short ball which is read straight away by James Justin.

Might as well have passed it straight back to Leicester! Strange free-kick.

Dean Smith says the atmosphere was always good at Griffin Park during his time as manager, with a feeling that the fans were on top of the players.

It's certainly an old-school ground - one that will be missed by home and visiting fans alike.

Birmingham's players normally arrive at St Andrew's in their own cars for games.

    Not today.

Pep Clotet's players met at their Wast Hill training base in King's Norton this morning before boarding the team coach for the eight mile journey to St Andrew's.

As the 'away' team in this tenant v landlord tie, Clotet is treating this as a normal away fixture - even though they are playing at their own ground.

  20. 'Brentford believe but have got to create chances'published at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2020

    Brentford 0-1 Leicester

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brentford believe, you can see that, the fans believe it as well, but they've got to create more chances. Halil Dervisoglu has played so well but he's up against two strong centre-backs. He was up against Wes Morgan there and he had to take a detour wider than the North Circular to get around him.
