Many people will see this as an enormous missed opportunity for West Brom. A win tonight would have put eight points between them and third-placed Fulham. But it wasn't to be for Slaven Bilic's men this evening. They stay just a point above Leeds.

Asked about his future, amid speculation about interest from other clubs in this January transfer window, Joe Allen adds:

"There's nothing as far as I'm concerned.

"There's a big job to do here at Stoke City, halfway through the season. Hopefully this is the start of something here."

Stoke midfielder Joe Allen adds to Sky Sports:

"Fair play, bodies on the line, it was that type of game.

"It wasn't pretty at times. We showed resilience to keep them at bay. It's a big win for us.

"Results went for us this weekend and it was a great opportunity for us to try and capitalise on that."

Stoke's Danny Batth tells Sky Sports:

"Since the new manager has come in we have really knuckled down. We look more organised and I think you can see what it means to us. This is massive for the club.

"It means a lot to win here. More importantly, we needed the points."
