Quote Message: Credit to Christian Doidge as that was a great leap and a great, powerful header. Parts of his game need to improve but if he continues to put the ball in the back of the net, like the two he has got tonight, he's got a future at Hibs there's no question of that.

Quote Message: Really poor defending from Dundee United. When Newell picks up the ball nobody goes anywhere near him. Credit to him, he lifts his head and picks out his pass. Doidge makes no mistake, the ball is bouncing up and he confidently strikes itinto the back of the net. That's what you're paid to do as a number nine.

Hibs searching for a new striker?
HT: Hibernian 1-1 Dundee United
Hibs need to get their shooting boots on for the second half. The home side have had some very good openings but only have the one goal to show for their efforts.
It was a similar story at Tannadice, when they passed up several chances to add to the two goals they scored.
Florian Kamberi is on the bench but the striker has gone five games without a goal. Beyond that, it's youngsters Fraser Murray and Jamie Gullan.
Surely manager Jack Ross will hope to end this week with a new forward in his squad.

Quote Message: Scott Allan has been taking a lot of stick from Dundee United fans. So much has been made of people celebrating, getting yellow cards, and he's left the field of play (after scoring). He's shushing the United fans and I haven't seen too much bother back. So respect to them for not getting too uppity, for giving it out and being able to take it and for Kevin Clancy for not booking him.
