  1. 'Great finish'published at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2020

    West Brom 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Tony Brown
Former West Brom striker on BBC WM 95.6

It was a great finish. He tucked it away in the corner. I'm pleased for him because he could have had two or three in previous games. Shots that went just wide.

  2. goal

GOAL: West Brom 1-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 37 mins

    Callum Robinson

West Brom hit the front and Samba Sow has his head in his hands.

The Forest midfielder has the ball pinched off him by Matheus Pereira and is punished for it.

Pereira slips a well-timed pass through to Callum Robinson and the forward bends a fine finish into the corner for his first Albion goal since joining on loan from Sheffield United.

  3. Postpublished at 34 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

West Brom are dominating possession but I can't remember Brice Samba making a save yet as another spell of sustained Albion possession comes to nothing.

Neither side has had a shot on target.

  4. Postpublished at 30 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Half-a-chance for West Brom as Kyle Bartley heads Filip Krovinovic's corner over the bar.

The frustration on the Albion defender's face tells you he thinks he should have done better.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 27 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Forest's Matty Cash goes through the back of Matheus Pereira, who goes down with a squeal.

Cash is promptly shown the game's first yellow card by referee Keith Stroud.

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Lovely bit of skill by Joe Lolley to nutmeg Romaine Sawyers on the edge of the West Brom box.

The Forest forward then lets fly with a shot from the edge of the box but can only drag it wide of the far post.

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

It's well worked from West Brom as Matheus Pereira slips a pass to Filip Krovinovic, whose cross is met at the far post by Dara O'Shea.

The defender's header is on target but a red shirt gets a vital block in.

  9. Postpublished at 20 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Ben Watson flies into Filip Krovinovic around 25 yards from the Forest goal.

    It's a decent position for a set-piece...

  10. Postpublished at 17 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

The Forest physio is on again as Jake Livermore catches Yuri Ribeiro on the knee with a high foot as he challenges for the ball in the corner.

Any flow there was to this game has gone with more than six minutes of stoppages already!

  11. Postpublished at 16 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

It is certainly blowy in West Bromwich as the wind moves the ball as Brice Samba prepares to take a goal-kick.

It could be one of those days!

  12. Postpublished at 13 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Almost an opening for West Brom as Yuri Ribeiro fluffs his clearance and Dara O'Shea hooks it into the box only for Callum Robinson to mess up his finish under pressure from Matty Cash.

The Forest defender took a nasty whack on the knee in making that challenge and receives a bit of treatment.

  14. Postpublished at 10 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are getting in a really compact defensive shape when out of possession.

West Brom's momentum is then held up as Matheus Pereira receives treatment following a foul by Samba Sow. It looked a decent challenge to me.

Lewis Grabban misses a chanceImage source, PA Media

He was in a great position. If it wasn't a windy day perhaps he would have got in on target.

  16. Postpublished at 7 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest offer their first threat as Lewis Grabban sends a free header wide from about eight yards.

He completely mistimed it and wasted the type of chance he would usually bury. How costly might that prove?

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

It's been fast, it's been frenetic so far - but no real chances yet.

This game is yet to settle down.

    West Brom 0-0 Nottingham Forest

A fast start from West Brom as Filip Krovinovic wins an early corner.

The Croatian takes it but it's massively overhit and sails behind for a goal-kick.

Albion are attacking the Birmingham Road End in the first half, suggesting that Forest won the toss as the Baggies like to go that way in the second half.
