    Brentford 0-1 Blackburn

Rovers, up to sixth as it stands, threaten a second goal but Adam Armstrong's cross can't quite pick out Dominic Samuel.

Not the start Thomas Frank would have wanted. Brentford have looked fine in patches but haven't taken their chances and were undone by a long ball over the top for the opening goal.

Said Benrahma shoots, this time from a tad further out. Straight at Christian Walton again.

    Brentford 0-1 Blackburn

Brentford's best chance of the game so far falls to Said Benrahma. who shoots straight at the goalkeeper from 15 yards.

Bees midfielder Christian Norgaard is back on the field, by the way.

Christian Norgaard collides with Dominic Samuel in midfield and the Brentford man comes off worse. He'll need some treatment.

Brentford are in their final season at Griffin Park, their historic home.

They are set to move into a new community stadium near Kew Bridge for the start of next season.

But will they mark the move as a Premier League club?

Adam Armstrong has another pop at the Brentford goal, this time from about 25 yards, but it drifts harmlessly wide.

A reminder that you can listen to coverage of your team in the final few weeks of the season on BBC local radio.

Later today, Final Score will keep you up to date with the goals from our 15:00 GMT kick-offs as they go in.

Out of nothing and against the run of play, Blackburn lead!

A long kick upfield by goalkeeper Christian Walton finds Adam Armstrong and he produces a delicate finish over David Raya to put the visitors in front.

Rovers into the top six as it stands.

    Brentford 0-0-Blackburn

It's been all Brentford in the opening few minutes - a couple of corners, a couple of crosses and plenty of the ball.

    Brentford 0-0 Blackburn

One pass through the Blackburn defence and Bryan Mbeumo is almost in, but Rovers goalkeeper Christian Walton is off his line quickly to deny the French youngster.

    Brentford 0-0 Blackburn

Blackburn were 2-0 up after seven minutes of the corresponding fixture last season and I'm sure they'd take a similar start today, though not the same final result - the Bees ended up winning 5-2.

Brentford fans are certainly in a buoyant mood this season.

A group of seven of them travelling on the train from Bedford to London today ended up chatting to a lone American tourist, with their wide-ranging and well-informed discussion examining all the main issues of the day - Coronavirus, US and UK politics, foreign language cinema.

As the train reached London, the American woman asked: “So are you all off to a game?”

Without missing a beat, one of the Bees' bunch responded: “Yes, to see the biggest club in London: Brentford.”

    Friday result: Derby 1-1 Fulham

Fulham missed the chance to move level with Leeds, coming from behind to draw with Derby.

Wayne Rooney scored the Rams' goal, a cheeky penalty, with Aleksandar Mitrovic (who else?) equalising for Fulham.

Scott Parker's side are third for now but will be keeping a keen eye on today's results, for sure.

Brentford and Blackburn get the day's action under way at Griffin Park in a few minutes' time.

The Bees are unbeaten in four games but have drawn their past two matches, leaving them four points behind second-placed Leeds. They will go third if they win.

Blackburn, meanwhile, are mounting a real charge for the play-offs. Tony Mowbray's men have won four of their past six games and will move into the top six (for a short while, at least) if they win in west London.

Having looked under real threat of slipping out of the top two last weekend, Leeds put in an impressive performance to beat Bristol City and all of their rivals dropped points.

    It's far from over though...

Barring Fulham, who drew with Derby last night, all of the main Championship promotion contenders are playing on another bumper day of action in the EFL.
