Norwich switch the play over to the right and Alexander Tettey lets it run past his body. Naby Keita is tracking him, ready to block the shot but Tettey, out of nowhere, blasts it towards the near post.

Alisson is taken completely by surprise and it bounces off the near post! Virgil van Dijk says words which we can't repeat on here...

That's better from Liverpool and it's no surprise to see Sadio Mane involved. He waits before slipping it through to Mohamed Salah on the left.

He's unmarked as he's able to cut it back from the goalline but it doesn't quite come through to Roberto Firmino.

Grant Hanley turns on the edge of his own box and gets away with it as Jordan Henderson is penalised for a foul.

There was a swamp of Liverpool players around him then - what was Hanley thinking?

Sadio Mane's first touch is excellent and it takes him past Max Aarons. Tim Krul comes off his line to grab it but there's a handball from Mane anyway.

Max Aarons' deflects Andy Robertson's cross away and it almost curls into the top left corner of Tim Krul's goal!

He smiles at his keeper in relief.

Liverpool are dominating possession but they just can't get the final ball right. It's hardly surprising in the blustery conditions that we've got here.

That's quite a save from Tim Krul to keep it goalless though.

Mohamed Salah turns sharply and smashes it towards the bottom right corner. Krul reacts smartly to make the save but it rebounds straight to the feet of Naby Keita, a few yards out.

Keita hits it straight back down the middle and Krul gets up and blocks that one too!

Eventually, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain cuts inside, lays it off to Mohamed Salah, who flicks it on for Naby Keita.

He strikes it powerfully towards goal but it's tipped over the bar by Tim Krul!

From the resulting corner, Virgil van Dijk can only nod it at Krul.

Liverpool are being allowed to knock it about between themselves. Pass, after pass, after pass.

Norwich are just sitting in and staying organised. No way through yet.

Teemu Pukki flicks it on with the back of his boot as Norwich try to break quickly down the left. Virgil van Dijk reads it and makes the interception.

Andy Robertson then flashes a dangerous ball across the box at the other end, but Roberto Firmino can't get there.

Jordan Henderson is caught in two minds and ends up playing a sloppy pass in his own half. Norwich can counter but Naby Keita tracks back well to get a toe in.

The hosts win the ball back on the right and it's slipped through to Todd Cantwell. He gets a shot away but can only smack it into the side-netting. Half chance though!
