  1. DISALLOWED GOAL ABERDEEN

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen produce a flowing move, Niall McGinn bends in a beauty of a ball for Curtis Main to head home, but it's ruled out for offside. Close call.

  2. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Michael Devlin comes on for Scott McKenna. Straight swap at centre-back.

  3. McKenna injured

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Midfielder Kyle McAllister came on for Alex Jakubiak at the break, Jim Goodwin trying to get his team going.

Meanwhile, Scott McKenna pulls up for Aberdeen chasing a ball through. This is worrying for the visitors, and Scotland, with John Souttar also having his season ended tonight.

It's McKenna's hamstring which is the issue.

  4. Hearts 'really deserved win' - Stendel

    FT: Hearts 1-0 Rangers

Hearts manager Daniel Stendel speaking to BBC Sport Scotland: "It was a really deserved win. Especially in possession, it was better than the last game three weeks ago.”

“This is what we want to change a little bit, the discipline. We’ll make mistakes sometimes, but we cannot make every mistake a goal. We want to see more defending as a team and not every player on their own.”

The Hearts manager confirms John Soutter's Achilles injury will end his season: “It’s a really bad moment for him and for us. He’s an important player for us but the reality is he cannot play, the season is over for him. We can say it’s bad, but we have no time to look back, only forward.”

  5. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

St Mirren start strongly and Ilkay Durmus manages to get a cross in, which Jamie McGrath knocks down towards Jonathan Obika, and Aberdeen can clear.

Durmus then shanks the resulting corner.

  6. KICK-OFF

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

We're off again. Bit more quality please.

  7. Fans do their bit

  8. Post update

    HT: St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Lewis Ferguson's goal is the one bit of quality, and if you haven't already, get it watched. Outside of the boot. Lovely stuff.

  9. HALF-TIME - St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Far from vintage stuff in Paisley. Aberdeen lead courtesy of Lewis Ferguson's fine early finish.

  10. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

St Mirren almost strike lucky as Scott McKenna nearly bundles a free-kick into his own net.

Aberdeen go up the park and get a corner. It's headed clear.

  11. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen have been pretty happy to sit deep since they scored. You get the feeling there's more goals out there for them if they get up the pitch.

As I type that, Matty Kennedy runs down the left wing, digs out a cross which evades Curtis Main who was darting to the front post.

  12. YELLOW CARD - Shay Logan (Aberdeen)

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Logan goes into the book for upending Calum Waters. Advantage is played and St Mirren's Ilkay Durmus surges down the left, but then his cross goes over the head of Jonathan Obika in the box.

  13. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

St Mirren are the Premiership's lowest scorers this season. Who fancies them to grab one tonight?

  14. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

It was taken short to Dean Campbell whose high cross is gathered by Vaclav Hladky. Quality at a premium.

  15. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

The conditions aren't helping, but it's a bit of a tough watch.

Lewis Ferguson is fouled by Cammy MacPherson and they have a free-kick on the edge of the box.

  16. 'Players are struggling'

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: The conditions, the rain, the slippery surface, the players are struggling out there.
  17. Post update

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Not much to report. A deep cross from a corner is aimed at Sam Foley but he fouls Lewis Ferguson as he tries to get his head to it.

  18. Ferguson's finish

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

    Aberdeen
