I thought the players played really fantastic football over 90 minutes. Peter Lovenkrands is always a threat. I couldn't have asked for a better finish. When Peter put it in the back of the net I knew there was no way back for Celtic. The progress in the last six months has been fantastic.

That was an epic tussle! It's a sore one for Celtic with no time to respond. Two evenly matched teams went toe to toe but Rangers probably shaded it with their midfield play and speedy attacks. Barry Ferguson, ahead of lifting the trophy, goes round his team-mates, hugging them all. The Rangers fans are ecstatic.

It's Celtic who have the belief now! Stilian Petrov, Alan Thompson and John Hartson are causing the men in blue all sorts of problems in the dying seconds. Are Rangers spent?

You can almost feel Alan Thompson's despair as he eases away from two Rangers players and advances into the Rangers half. He may be exhausted but he is mindful to look up and plays the ball towards John Hartson but the striker slips and Rangers come away.

Douglas thwarts Lovenkrands

Peter Lovenkrands leaps like a gazelle to get an attempt on target from a tight angle but just cannot get enough purchase on his shot. Rab Douglas was well placed in any case and the big Celtic goalie makes a vital save. Under five minutes to go.

Incredible drama! Johan Mjallby is a yard off the goalline when he stops Fernando Ricksen's shot going into the Celtic net as Rangers create mayhem from Rab Douglas's attempt to cut out Neil McCann.s cross. Rangers looking the likelier to score!

Who can find a winner?

Alan Thompson hasn't yet been able to get a clear sight of the Rangers goal to try a shot with that murderous left boot. He's had enough to deal with containing former Ajax favourite Ronald de Boer.
