Greg Clark: First date with my wife was a Bluewings game. 9years and a baby later I'm watching from Scotland.

R Marr: Watching this football without any fans... well, it isn't bothering me that much, to be honest. That said, I support Gateshead (average attendance 978, capacity 11800) and love County cricket, so perhaps am more familiar than most with this kind of thing.

David Hajdukiewicz: Just watching Jeonbuk v Suwon on@BBCSport, external. It's great to have some football to watch but its defo missing something...Where are Ian Wright and@alanshearer, externalwith the half-time analysis?!

    Jeonbuk 0-0 Suwon

Jeonbuk have been the better team by far. Murilo Henrique swings in a wonderful free-kick but nobody can head it towards the goal.

It's sad how much of a buzz I got off that VAR check.

  4. NO PENALTY!published at 12:11 British Summer Time 8 May 2020

    Jeonbuk 0-0 Suwon

The referee has a check on the VAR screen and says no penalty. The ball hit Doneil Henry's thigh before hitting him on the arm so that's not a handball.

    Jeonbuk 0-0 Suwon

A loose ball hit the arms of Doneil Henry and maybe Park Dae-won too. Not sure they could have done much about it. But that doesn't matter these days.

It's like football has never been away!! We have a VAR check for handball.

Half chance for the Motors as Murilo Henrique has a shot blocked and then there's a handball appeal.

Chance at the other end now but Kim Joon-hyung completely slices his volley wide at the back stick.

Boom. Ko Seung-beom. The Bluewings number 77 smashes an effort in from about 30 yards but it flies wide of the post.

Suwon centre-back Doneil Henry is the first ever Canadian player to play in K League.

He transferred from Vancouver Whitecaps this season.

Henry also played for West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers in England.

With his nice physical attributes (188cm, 88kg), he has powerful play and his defence skills are overwhelming but has slow feet.

A good interception from Doneil Henry to stop a Jeonbuk attack.

Andy: Am wearing my Jeonbuk shirt for the first time since leaving Jeonju 5 years ago. Great city, with an excellent stadium and brilliant fans. Only used to cost about 6 quid entrance too. Granted, the standard wasn't world class, but that is a bargain in any man's language. Come on, Jeonbuk!

Steve Crouch, Hastings: Game needs a goal for sure. Great to be watching the beautiful game LIVE again.

    • Son hits the target...published at 11:54 British Summer Time 8 May 2020

      Elsewhere in South Korea...

Tottenham forward Son Heung-min has completed his basic military training - and has won an award for being the top performer among 157 trainees.

Those involved are exposed to tear gas, go on hikes and receive weapons training during their stint with the marines.

All physcially able South Korean men must serve around two years in the military but athletes who win gold at the Asian Games or a medal of any colour at the Olympics receive exemptions, hence Son "only" having to do the basic training.

Hein Vanhaezebrouck Tribute Club: Rooting for Jeonbuk, through the LDG connection - both a Boro player and a very ill-judged FM signing. Gazzetta Football Korea coming soon for the BBC? Emlyn, you could be sat in a Seoul restaurant leafing through the headlines on a tablet while munching on kimchi?

The James Richardson of South Korean football? I like it.
