Decent effort from Mahmoud Dahoud - it opens up for the Dortmund midfielder as Jadon Sancho takes a man away. Hit it well, but straight at Manuel Neuer.

Erling Haaland is just 5% off his sharpest. Twice in a matter of seconds there he was inches away from collecting a ball on halfway and he would have been able to send Dortmund in on goal. Both times he couldn't quite collect.
Bayern then waste a good opportunity as Kingsley Coman batters a cross way over his man in the middle.

And we're up and running!
Julian Brandt and Thomas Delaney are the men to make way.

Jadon Sancho and Emre Can are on for the hosts at the break.

Can Dortmund possibly come back and win this?
I mean, obviously it's possible.
Dortmund have scored in all 30 Bundesliga home matches under Lucien Favre, netting multiple goals in 28 of those 30 fixtures. Let's get this on!
Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Bayern Munich
Jadon Sancho is by all accounts out and warming up...
Ian Wright at Elland Road. That's what that goal was like.
It really was a fine goal. As it stands Bayern Munich have a seven-point lead at the summit. Insurmountable?
You'd think so.

But there's the break.
A very good game of football between two superb teams - one moment of class separates the sides.
Would a better goalkeeper have got that or are we splitting hairs?
Bayern have a huge lead in the title race.
Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Bayern Munich
It would be a very Bayern thing to go and get another one before the break now. Relentless.
Joshua Kimmich (43 mins)
And this one won't be goalless either! What a goal this is. What a goal!
Bayern have a long spell of pressure, pop the ball around on the edge of the area and it breaks for Joshua Kimmich.
He's 20 yards out, has space to step on but instead reaches into the bag for his lob wedge and floats a beauty of a disguised lob over the head of Roman Burki.
It's perfectly weighted, and while the keeper gets a big hand on it he can't keep it out. That was Le Tissier-esque.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
Only one of the last 12 Bundesliga Klassikers has been goalless at half time. That was in Dortmund in 2016 and went on to finish 0-0.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
Rasping shot comes in from Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka but Roman Burki can punch it out. Bayern ending the half strongly.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
Not content with his goal-saving intervention at one end Alphonso Davies now does his best Maradona impression to dribble inside past four men and nearly get the ball across goal. Mats Hummels eventually does enough to see him out.
Davies is 19.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
It's been a really good watch but it needs a goal. A Dortmund goal, to be honest.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
Dortmund should do better there! Julian Brandt this time gets space on the right, he hits it across goal first time but gets way too much on it.
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Bayern Munich
Alphonso Davies, you absolute freak. How has he done that?! Erling Haaland's first touch is ace and does for Jerome Boateng, he's in on goal and just trying to move the ball onto his favoured left foot when Davies flies back to make a covering tackle.
The fastest player in world football? He made up yards and yards and yards there.

Head it man! Ah! Mats Hummels tries to head the ball back across goal at the far post but surely he could have put that on target?!
A clear chance. Dortmund now well on top. Proper game.
