Sven Eleven: It's Netherlands v England at 3pm today. What are the odds on the following: Both teams to score, Sheringham and Shearer to score twice and England to win 4-1?
A 4-1 win for England against this Dutch team? I'll bet my walkman that doesn't happen. Will even throw in my mix tape too.

Plenty of Oranje fans in and around the stadium today.
There's certainly a growing belief among England fans that the Three Lions can go all the way this year but the Dutch will be determined to spoil the party.

It is not over yet for Scotland but they will be relying on England to give them a bit of a helping hand.
If England win then Scotland can also progress if they beat Switzerland by enough goals to overtake the Netherlands on goal difference.

So this is how it looks in Group A. All England need to do to guarantee progress to the knockouts is avoid defeat.
If they lose Terry Venables' lot will still progress unless Switzerland beat Scotland AND score enough goals to overtake England on goal difference.
It is a situation that the Three Lions surely can't mess up.

Hello! Welcome along to our coverage of an all-time classic - England versus Netherlands at Euro 1996.
This should have been the weekend Euro 2020 got under way but in its absence and to help get you in the mood for the return of the Premier League, what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than indulging in a bit of football nostalgia?
You can watch the full match on BBC iPlayer and online via this page, so sit back, play along with our 'as live' coverage and enjoy one of the great England performances.
Everyone seems to know the score...
"Three Lions on a shirt"
"Jules Rimet still gleaming"
"Thirty years of hurt"
"Never stopped me dreaming"
Thirty years. As the lyrics in the song that is sweeping the nation this summer says, that is how long it has been since England last won a major trophy.
Imagine having to wait until 2026 to see the Three Lions win something big. Unthinkable.
