    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

We need a goal. If the real Yellow Wall was here, they'd be doing their best to crank up the atmosphere.

It's quick, intense football but the chances are few and far between.

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Dedryck Boyata has been excellent at the back for Hertha. He intercepts a through ball from the left but Thomas Delaney quickly wins it back for Dortmund.

Substitute Alexander Esswein then gives away a sloppy foul on the right. The free-kick doesn't come to anything though.

  3. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Jadon Sancho is doing his best to create an opening. He links up with Julian Brandt on the edge of the box again but the return pass it too heavy.

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Dodi Lukebakio and Thomas Delaney clash in a 50-50 but it's Hertha who come out with the ball.

Marko Grujic carries it through the centre but he's dawdling. I'm waiting for a teammate to shout "man on" but he doesn't seem to get one and two Dortmund players tracking back rob the ball off him.

Grujic turns around and asks why nobody told him!

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 30 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Enforced early change for Hertha as Alexander Esswein is on for the injured Javario Dilrosun.

  6. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Dodi Lukebakio makes a smart run in behind Dortmund's defence and he's picked out with a long, looping pass.

The Belgian manages to stick out a leg to bring it down and attempts to half-scissor kick it towards goal but he's falling down as he does it. No harm done.

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Dortmund have scored 80 Bundesliga goals this season. They are two goals shy of equalling the club record - 82 in the 2015/16 season.

Reckon they'll do it today? Nothing suggesting they will so far. Hertha are well organised.

  8. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Julian Brandt has a pop this time and he's skewed it again - though he was further out and under more pressure.

  9. CLOSE!published at 22 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Oh no it's a proper slice from Thorgan Hazard!

It's lifted over to him from the left and he has time to take a control and set himself before shooting but he smashes it way wide from close range.

It was a tight angle but you'd expect him to hit the target.

  10. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Marko Grujic opts not to shoot on the edge of the box but the move breaks down when it's slipped to his right.

Jadon Sanch picks the ball up and immediately runs at the defence, beating one player, coming inside and beating another, before holding the ball up for his teammates to overlap on the left.

  11. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Lukasz Piszczek is caught late as he wins a 50-50 challenge near the touchline. Both teams pressing hard but struggling to find spaces in the opposition defence.

  12. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Good work again from Jadon Sancho, who has played a few nice balls in behind. Dortmund win a corner as a result but Sancho's deep cross isn't quite kept in by Axel Witsel.

  13. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Jadon Sancho tries to link up with Julian Brandt in the box but the backheel doesn't come off.

Hertha then try to counter but Emre Can shows his acrobatics with a decent clearance on the backline.

  14. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

As expected, Dortmund are controlling possession but Hertha's press has forced them back a few times now.

    Still no real chances.

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

The Yellow Wall could be heard over the speakers in the build up to that attack. I definitely think it adds more to the TV-watching experience.

    Less echoing.

  16. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Achraf Hakimi suddenly finds himself in space on the right and weaves into the box. He jinks to his right, creating space to shoot, but smashes it well wide and into the side-netting. He's scored a few from similar positions!

  17. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

More good pressing from Hertha to win the ball back but Dortmund win a free-kick on the far side.

Their attack doesn't come to anything as Thorgan Hazard's first-time pass is straight into a wall of defenders.

  18. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Nice passage of play from Hertha. Quick, one-touch passing sees them move gradually up the pitch before Axel Witsel is able to clear on the edge of his own box.

  19. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Dortmund 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Achraf Hakimi can't keep it in play on the right as Dortmund look to spread possession.

A fairly quick tempo to the play so far.
