There has been a buzz around Anthony Gordon for quite a while at Goodison and he has clearly impressed manager Carlo Ancelotti to such an extent that the teenager is given his first start in the Merseyside derby.

Elegant and skilful - a real show of faith by Ancelotti.

Merseyside is the setting for the first derby since the Premier League resumed.

But it's not just any derby meeting.

Beat Everton for the third time this season and Liverpool will be one win away from being crowned champions of England for the first time in 30 years.

Buckle up. This is going to be tasty.

    Thanks Tom.

It's fair to say working from home has proved pretty eventful for the BBC Sport website football crew.

Ten games into the restart and we've already had dogs chewing cables, power cuts and food deliveries mid live text.

I'm set up in my kitchen. Nothing can go wrong. Absolutely nothing.

Great comeback from Chelsea who look a very sound bet for Europe next year.

Now, the big one. Liverpool can't quite win the title at Goodison but they're not far off.

Here to take you through it is Neil Johnston...

Liverpool players will have a few butterflies. They haven’t played in a while. But once they get first their first touch, shot or clearance, they’ll be fine. It’ll be interesting to see if their best players look as sharp after the break.

A police helicopter is flying over Goodison Park while there is a strong police presence around the stadium - although there are very few fans gathered outside.

Police horses were in Stanley Park but once again it is currently very quiet.

Liverpool's players have arrived and will be getting changed in a portakabin erected in the car park behind Everton's Park End stand.

Inside the stadium all is quiet although Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is taking a stroll on the pitch wearing a bright red Liverpool mask.

Chelsea were brilliant in the second half. They scored two really good goals. Cesar Azpilicueta was magnificent. N'Golo Kante was all over the pitch too. Frank Lampard has put a desire in the team to score goals.

It was so hard for Aston Villa when they're not getting on the ball. The two times they switched off were the two times they conceded. They need to create more chances to get out of relegation trouble.

Jack Grealish was booked right at the end, by the way. He looks really frustrated by that one.

Trezeguet takes the free-kick, whips it over the wall but straight at Kepa.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 90+4 mins

    Aston Villa 1-2 Chelsea

Jack Grealish is the wrong side of N'Golo Kante so the Frenchman fouls him, not for the first time. That was a cynical one but the right one given the context of the game.

Grealish is whacked by Toni Rudiger on the way down as well. That looked painful. Kante booked, Villa free-kick. Probably their last staging post.

It's a frustrating one for Villa because they've lacked quality in the final third. They don't have that goalscorer.

Tammy Abraham would have been a big hit for them in the Premier League.
