  1. 'They have dealt with every obstacle'published at 22:28 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You knew it was going to happen it was just a matter of when. I'm in Liverpool city centre and I can hear horns going off everywhere.

It has been inevitable but for them to get over the line I feel sorry for the players that they can't share it with each other. I think of the party the Leicester players had and you want to embrace it with your teammate. When you look back in 20 or 30 years when you meet back up and talk about where you were.

I'm really pleased for the manager Jurgen Klopp because he talked the talk when he came in and he has backed it up.

There were a few people worried after the Everton game because they didn't click into gear but you see the performance on Wednesday and they meant business. They have dealt with every obstacle in front of them. It's been a phenomenal effort from all involved.

This is brilliant from Kenny, when he's asked how he's going to celebrate: "I remember Bob Paisley said once after winning the European Cup, he never had a drink because he wanted to remember the occasion.

"Well, I never took his advice!"

*He raises a glass of champagne and toasts Jurgen Klopp and all the players*. What a lovely, lovely interview.
