More possession and more shots from Monchengladbach than the hosts. It's not often that happens after an hour when Bayern are at home.

    Bayern Munich 1-1 Monchengladbach

This game is turning out to be a decent warm-up act ahead of Barcelona's return to action and the Coppa Italia semi-final later on.

This could go either way. It's a tough one to call right now.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 54 mins

A reminder that Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski are both suspended for this game.

Here come Monchengladbach again and Patrick Herrmann gets away a powerful shot which Manuel Neuer does well to keep out.

    Bayern Munich 1-1 Monchengladbach

Monchengladbach have come flying out of the traps. A cross from the left is parried by the usually reliable Manuel Neuer and the visitors look set to pounce before Bayern's keeper scrambles it away with his foot. That was too close for comfort.

Earlier, Erling Braut Haaland came off the bench to score a 95th-minute winner for Borussia Dortmund at Dusseldorf.

Dortmund looked to be losing ground at the top of the Bundesliga after a frustrating display which saw a goal ruled out by VAR for handball.

But Haaland, 19, came up with his 11th league goal in 12 appearances with a deft flicked header.

Is it me or has the crowd noise being pumped out over the speakers increased since Monchengladbach equalised?

  14. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Bayern Munich 1-1 Monchengladbach

There are so many one-sided games in the Bundesliga.

Not at the Allianz Arena today. Bayern have a real job on their hands against a determined Monchengladbach side who are showing just why they are challenging for a Champions League spot.

    Benjamin Pavard (own goal)

    Disaster for Bayern!

Mistakes all over the pitch and this time Monchengladbach take advantage as Benjamin Pavard gets his feet in a tangle and turns Patrick Herrmann's low cross into his own net.

This is turning out to be a decent game.

Joshua Zirkzee is only 19 but that's his third league goal for Bayern. It was a decent finish from the teenager despite Yann Sommer's howler.

GOAL - Bayern Munich 1-0 Monchengladbachpublished at 26 mins

    Joshua Zirkzee

It's taken them a while to get going but Bayern have the lead thanks to a howler by Yann Sommer. The Mochengladbach keeper gets the ball from Matthias Ginter but tries to pass it back out only for Joshua Zirkzee to intercept and fire home. What a disaster for Sommer.
