  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 17:55 British Summer Time 13 June 2020

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Borussia Monchengladbach

Bayern haven't shown much attacking intent but Monchengladbach keeper Yann Sommer is forced to make a fine save to keeper out Lucas Hernandez. That's more like it from the leaders who have been rattled by Monchengladbach's lively start.

It was Jerome Boateng who was responsible for that heavy challenge on Marcus Thuram which prevented the French forward from charging through. Thuram is still feeling it and needs some treatment. He's okay to continue.

It must be weird as a player walking out to no applause, no fans. Music blasts from the speakers as the teams emerge - Bayern are in their familiar red while Monchengladbach are in white and green trim.

Bayern Munich could have wrapped up the title with a win over Monchengladbach but Borussia Dortmund's last-gasp victory at Fortuna Dusseldorf means they will have to wait a little longer.

However, Bayern can confirm an eighth successive Bundesliga triumph before Dortmund host Mainz on Wednesday.

If Bayern beat Monchengladbach and then follow it up with another three points at Werder Bremen on Tuesday, the title is done and dusted.

There's no Robert Lewandowski or Thomas Muller for Bayern - both are suspended. That's huge. Between them they have scored 37 Bundesliga goals this season. Former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara is nursing a groin injury while Philippe Coutinho is still out with an ankle problem.

This is a big game for Borussia Monchengladbach. They have eyes on qualifying for next season's Champions League and start this match fourth in the table. A win at an empty Allianz Arena would be huge. However, they are without influential French forward Alassane Plea, who has scored 10 times in the Bundesliga this season.

  15. Messi, Bayern and a semi-finalpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 13 June 2020

In normal circumstances, we'd all be knee deep in Euro 2020 action today. Wales v Switzerland in Baku, Belgium v Russia in Saint Petersburg and Denmark v Finland in Copenhagen.

But while football's one-month European carnival has been put back 12 months, we do have some live action from the continent to bring you. And it's pretty tasty.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez return to action with Barcelona for the first time since La Liga restarted. Over in Italy there's a Coppa Italia semi-final but first we start with Bayern Munich, who are closing in on another Bundesliga title.
