Real are back at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano on Thursday when seventh-placed Valencia are the visitors (21:00 BST). Barca are back in action on Tuesday at home to struggling Leganes (21:00 BST).

FULL-TIME

Job done. Barca's lead is back down to two points. Eibar looked like they were going to be steamrollered at one point but produced a much better second half.

Eibar have been much more adventurous this half and they almost get a second when Pedro Leon finds himself in space and unmarked but Thibaut Courtois pulls off a fine stop to deny him.

Eibar have a goal back and moments after making a superb save, Thibaut Courtois will be wondering how he did not keep out Pedro Bigas' effort from just inside the penalty area.

It hit the keeper before rolling agonisingly over the line.

He hasn't had a lot to do but Thibaut Courtois makes a superb full-stretch save to keep out Sergio Enrich. Great effort by the Eibar man from distance.

There's not an awful lot going on. The last time I said that Real scored two quick goals!
