  1. Monk and Lamouchi keen to make amendspublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

Sheff Wed v Nottm Forest (15:00 BST)

The final matches before lockdown were not exactly the sort of note both of these sides wanted to press pause on.

A combined total of eight goals conceded and none scored between them saw Wednesday and Forest on the receiving end of 5-0 and 3-0 scorelines respectively.

Forest remain firmly entrenched in the play-off pack in fifth despite that home defeat by Millwall while Wednesday will know of the need to pick up some early wins to ease their relegation worries both directly and indirectly.

They are currently nine points adrift of danger but potentially pending disciplinary measures from the EFL could still come into play.

Both are without a win in their past two games - odds on a match to bust your pools coupon?

    Millwall 1-2 Derby

Millwall try and create a chance for an equaliser as Shane Ferguson attempts a threaded ball to Jed Wallace but Matthew Clarke ushers the ball out for Derby.

    Not long to go now.

  3. Stoke boss O'Neill set to returnpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Reading v Stoke (15:00 BST)

The highest-profile confirmed case of coronavirus in the Championship during the lockdown was Stoke manager Michael O'Neill.

The former Northern Ireland boss received a positive test on 9 June, leading to the cancellation of a friendly against Manchester United.

But he's hopeful of being back on the touchline for the Potters' trip to Reading after self-isolating since his result.

"I've been fortunate that since going into self-isolation I've not developed any symptoms" he told BBC Radio Stoke on Thursday evening.

"I'm very thankful for that, given what so many families have gone through with this horrible disease."

    O'Neill hopeful of touchline return

Michael O'Neill is hopeful he will take charge of Stoke at Reading, nearly two weeks after testing positive for coronavirus.

    Luton v Preston (15:00 BST)

It's been all change at Luton Town during lockdown.

The Hatters parted company with boss Graeme Jones on 24 April after just under a year in charge, with the club taking the decision to “reduce its cost base” during the pandemic.

Nathan Jones returned on 28 May for his second spell as manager.

The Welshman was instrumental in securing back-to-back promotions to the Championship and will be looking to provide the inspiration for an unlikely survival bid - with the Kenilworth Road club six points from safety.

Preston North End head into the restart in the final play-off place, but the Lilywhites had a wobble before the season was halted, losing three straight games.

  5. Restart lacks integrity - Cookpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Huddersfield v Wigan (15:00 BST)

    Paul CookImage source, Rex Features

A vast majority of Championship clubs were in favour of completing the season on the pitch, but Wigan boss Paul Cook says the campaign cannot be completed with any sort of integrity.

Cook's side, in 20th, are two points clear of the drop with nine games left.

Hull, a place below in 21st, have seen several players leave after failing to sign new deals while Charlton, in 22nd, are without top scorer Lyle Taylor, who opted not to play as he seeks a move this summer.

"The season will be finished because the Premier League have demanded that we finish it," Cook said.

"And that's the brutal truth - money and finance are driving the game in areas where in my opinion it's not correct.

"I don't feel like the season will be finished with any sort of integrity whatsoever."

  6. Tykes start survival bid at QPRpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    QPR v Barnsley (15:00 BST)

QPR were a side in form, winning three times in a six-game unbeaten run, which has put them six points off the play-off places.

Rangers have recovered after losing top scorer Nahki Wells, who cut his loan spell in west London short in January to join Bristol City.

Visitors bottom club Barnsley have it all to do.

The Tykes are seven points from safety, and are in need of a huge turnaround to stay up - but manager Gerhard Struber believes his squad are full of energy and focus.

"We’ve waited so long to get going and right now we’ve got that chance to go out there and put in some good performances," the Austrian told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"I think we’re ready to play with good intensity and this is going to be key to get the right results."

  7. Tigers and Addicks face basement showdownpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Hull v Charlton (15:00 BST)

    CharltonImage source, Getty Images

This one looked like it would be a crucial clash in the context of the relegation battle back in March.

Three months ago, Hull were in the midst of an injury crisis and still feeling the loss of departed pair Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki while Charlton had just slipped into the bottom three.

Both clubs lost three straight games before the season stopped, and two points separate the sides.

Fast forward, and the Tigers have lost four players including captain Jackson Irvine.

Charlton are also without a key performer, as top scorer Lyle Taylor has refused to play as he eyes a move this summer.

"Whoever wants to step forward and grab the limelight, now is their chance," boss Lee Bowyer said.

"They have an opportunity to become a hero if we stay in the division."

The Addicks endured a tumultuous time off the pitch during lockdown as an ownership row rumbled on, but were taken over by Paul Elliott earlier this month.

Great vision from Martyn Waghorn to find Sibley, who finishes well into the corner to give Derby the lead.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Middlesbrough 0-3 Swansea

A sorry afternoon for Boro who would've been desperate to record another win in their fight against the drop.

It took until two minutes into second-half injury time for them to register a shot on target.

Swansea get the job done in clinical and convincing fashion.

Rhian Brewster's early brace and Andre Ayew's penalty could've easily been added to even more had the woodwork not intervened on three occasions.

    Fulham 0-2 Brentford

    FulhamImage source, PA Media

Brentford claim a massive win in the context of the promotion race.

The Bees move a point behind third-placed Fulham.

The Whites remain six points off the top two, with Leeds and West Brom yet to play.

You feel Fulham have to go to Elland Road next weekend and win now to have any hopes of automatic promotion.

These two could yet meet again in the play-offs as well, but it's Emiliano Marcondes who inspired Brentford to victory after coming off the bench.

    Middlesbrough 0-3 Swansea

This one has been long done and dusted as we move into injury time but Swansea go close to making it 4-0.

They're denied by the woodwork for a third time.

Substitute George Byers strikes a post with a curling shot after Bersant Celina teed him up.

    Millwall 1-1 Derby

    Emiliano Marcondes

    Brentford seal things late on.

Fulham throw almost everyone up for a corner as they chase an equaliser.

But the Bees break away and Said Benrahma releases Emiliano Marcondes with a raking ball to the right.

Marcondes latches onto it inside the box, shows composure to cut back inside two Fulham defenders and lashes in.

The substitute has turned this game on its head!

Game, set and match to the visitors.

    Said Benrahma

What a goal this could be!

Emiliano Marcondes is found in space on the right by Christian Norgaard.

Fulham claim offside but the Dane has timed his run well. He picks his head up and puts a teasing ball in.

It evades Ollie Watkins but Said Benrahma is there to turn in from in front of Denis Odoi,

Are Fulham's automatic hopes up in smoke? Leeds and West Brom fans will be cheering that goal.

    Fulham 0-0 Brentford

It's Benrahma who takes it on, but his effort is five yards wide of the Fulham goal.

Marek Rodak was never worried by that.

The Bees make another chance, with winger Joel Valencia coming on for Josh Dasilva.

There's still plenty of time for someone to grab a winner.

  18. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Brentford

Brentford forward Ollie Watkins is fouled by Michael Hector about 25 yards out from goal.

Said Benrahma and Emiliano Marcondes are standing over this, and you think the former fancies a shot at goal.

It is to the left of the D, and a decent angle for the Bees.

  19. CLOSE!published at 14:14 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Millwall 1-1 Derby

A quick throw from Mahlon Romeo puts Matt Smith through on goal for the home side but his looped effort goes just over the bar.

That was nice quick thinking from Romeo.
