  6. European football is back!published at 18:55 British Summer Time 5 August 2020

The Premier League season is over in England, with the 2020-21 Premiership just under way in Scotland - but the race for major 2019-20 European club honours has already restarted.

After a five-month delay because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Champions League and Europa League are BACK.

While Manchester City and Chelsea compete in the Champions League, Manchester United, Wolves and Rangers are still in the Europa League.

With 26 games over two and a half weeks, it is a feast of European football - and Juventus' five-time Champions League winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, four times a winner with Barcelona, will both feature.

It all culminates with the Champions League final in Lisbon on 23 August, two days after the Europa League final in Cologne.

Here's all you need to know.

  9. The latest on United-Sancho...published at 18:50 British Summer Time 5 August 2020

Man Utd v LASK (20:00 BST)

How many times do you reckon Jadon Sancho's name will pop up in this live?

Here's the latest on his transfer link with Manchester United, courtesy of BBC Sport's Simon Stone...

United and Borussia Dortmund remain far apart in their valuation of Sancho.

It had been reported United had agreed personal terms with Sancho, but BBC Sport understands that is not the case.

United have made Sancho their number one transfer target this summer. Dortmund want about £100m for the 20-year-old and say they want a deal to be done by 10 August so they can get on with their pre-season campaign with no distractions.

United feel that sum - which would be a record for a British player - is unrealistic and does not take into account the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
