I am a Watford fan and my son's a Palace fan. After all his jesting up until this game I told him that I'm not taking him to Selhurst Park next season if we go down. After those first 45 mins, he's now very nervous!

Fred Crint: It’s odd, isn’t it. Not long before the enforced break Watford trounced Liverpool and I thought that they were well on the road to recovery. What’s happened?

That is the best 45 minutes I have seen West Ham play at the London Stadium. They have been brilliant at both ends of the pitch.

Really grateful to West Ham for aiding our survival cause. If it doesn't work out though at least we won't need to "welcome" those lovely Leeds fans to Dean Court next season. Andy

I rarely watch Watford without thinking 'who's this guy?' at least once in a game. They must have about 100 players. Not many seem particularly good...

Tyrone: I mean as a spurs fan west ham is a game I really enjoy watching so for me them staying is almost as good as the possibility of millwall in the premier league.

Chris Painter: I'm calling it. One win and a decent lost keeps Bournemouth in the Premiership. Two decent fixtures to get them from. Watford aren't getting any more points defending like this...
