GOAL - West Ham 3-0 Watfordpublished at 36 mins

    Declan Rice

Declan Rice scores to make it 3-0! It was a goal which caught both me and Ben Foster out.

Rice receives a Mark Noble pass about 20 yards out, near the corner of the box, and nobody is expecting him to shoot. But shoot he does - and Foster is rooted to the spot as it curls into the far corner. I was looking at my keyboard because I didn't think that was going to be a goal.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 35 mins

    West Ham 2-0 Watford

Another quick West Ham break and Watford midfielder Will Hughes is booked for a foul on Mark Noble. It's a Hammers corner because the ref let play go on and then went back to book Hughes.

Brilliant defending by Angelo Ogbonna to deny Watford. Ismaila Sarr chases onto a long ball forward - he's so rapid you expect him to get in and take a shot but Ogbonna muscles him out of it just in time.

Mark from Stockport: re Stuart 20.16...I can't see Villa or Bournemouth getting more than a point either. Bournemouth have Soton (H) and Everton (A). Villa have Arsenal (H) and Hammers (A)

There was also a VAR check for a potential dangerous tackle on Aaron Cresswell, who needs treatment, but they decide no punishment is needed.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 27 mins

    West Ham 2-0 Watford

Watford want a penalty as the ball strikes Angelo Ogbonna's upper arm as he blocks a cross. But his arm was by his side - that would be very harsh. And I don't think VAR have reallly looked at it.

Watford defender Christian Kabasele does well to guide the ball out of play under pressure from Michail Antonio but he must get a whack as he's holding his ribs.

Watford goal difference could be massive - still to play Arsenal and City. Villa could survive with a last day win at an already safe West Ham, Bournemouth have a good shout too.

    West Ham 2-0 Watford

Watford really need a bit of inspiration but they lack bite from this attack -Troy Deeney didn't seem keen on shooting - and eventually concede a free-kick.

Since the league restarted Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and West Ham's Jarrod Bowen have made more assists than anyone else - four each.

As things stand West Ham will be six points clear with a much better goal difference and only two games to go.

Watford are still going to be very concerned.

Watford big favourites to go down now I'd say. Can't see them getting another point and their goal difference will be shot after this game and City next.

    West Ham 2-0 Watford

There's a VAR check to see if Watford should have a penalty but I'm fairly sure they won't. Ismaila Sarr looks offside as he races onto a long ball and I'm not sure Lukasz Fabianski even fouls him when he gets there.

The referee and video team agree. No penalty.

That was the first shot which wasn't a goal in this game.

Watford's first chance of the game as Ismaila Sarr speeds onto a long ball down the right, bursts into the box and shoots but it's saved by the feet of Lukasz Fabianski. A follow-up shot is blocked.
