Glentoran need to get four or five passes going. I don't think they've strung together too many passes yet. It needs to be a little bit better. Torshavn are playing some good stuff. Glentoran need to hold on to it, especially when it goes up front. Torshavn have the advantage of being well into their league campaign.

Still awaiting the first clear-cut chance at the Oval. Difficult conditions this evening with plenty of wind and some surface water on the pitch to add to the challenge for the players.

Glentoran v HB Torshavn (19:00 BST)

It has been nine years since Glentoran last won a Europa League game.

Then again, having just won their first trophy in five years in the form of the Irish Cup, the east Belfast side are in duck-breaking form.

Tonight, the Glens are in Europa League preliminary round action against Faroe Islands outfit HB Torshavn at the Oval - Glentoran's first competitive game at home since losing 2-0 to Cliftonville on 7 March.

And it's a much-changed side from their Irish Cup final triumph over Ballymena United, with Mick McDermott making no fewer than four changes.

Some of those are enforced, of course, following the departures of Elvio van Overbeek and Navid Nasseri - they have been replaced by Caolan Marron and new signing Gael Bigirimana.

There is another debutant in towering goalkeeper Dayle Coleing, who is preferred to the evergreen Elliott Morris in goal, while Seanan Clucas comes in for Joe Crowe in midfield.

McDermott keeps his faith in a potent-looking trident up top with Paul O'Neill, Robbie McDaid and Rory Donnelly leading the home side's charge this evening.

Glentoran's three other summer signings - Rory Brown, Luke McCullough and Jamie McDonagh - settle for a place on the bench.

Glentoran: Coleing; Kane, Cowan, Marron, McClean; Clucas, Gallagher, Bigirimana; O'Neill, Donnelly, McDaid.

Subs: Brown, Stewart, Crowe, McCullough, McDonagh, O'Connor, Mitchell.

HB Torshavn: Gestsson; Davidsen, Wardum, Tshiembe, Johansen; Kristensen, Hansen, I Soylu; Jacobsen, Dahl, Petersen.

Subs: Eydsteinsson, Chukwudi, Justinussen, Jensen, Joensen, Dalbud, Mikkelsen.
