    Watford 1-0 Luton

Watford happy to let Luton have the ball, and were almost punished as a cross from the right was flicked across goal by Ryan Tunnicliffe, into a tempting area but no-one attacked the ball.

Rhys Norrington-Davies burst down the left having retrieved the ball but his cross thuds into the shins of Craig Cathcart.

Sustained pressure from Luton, who get James Collins into the box, but a left footed curler whistles over the top.

    Wycombe 0-2 Swansea

Morgan Gibbs-White sends another Swansea corner into the Wycombe box and Jake Bidwell gets on the end of it.

His near post shot is collected by Chairboys keeper Ryan Allsop this time as the hosts do well to defend.

    Watford 1-0 Luton

Nathaniel Chalobah got a bit excited when a curling cross was headed out to him on the edge of the box, but the Watford midfielder's shot whizzes over the bar.

Luton pour forward at the other end but Ben Foster is quick to get out and claim the swinging cross from sub Jordan Clark.

Watford not shut up shop yet, and Luton still in the game.

The tempo in this match has slowed down somewhat from the frantic play Swansea were dictating in the first half.

The visitors doing well to hold onto their lead. Wycombe doing little to challenge it.

    Watford 1-0 Luton

    Luton under the pump...

Watford break through Tom Cleverley, who rolls the ball into the edge of the box, it's flicked beautifully to James Garner - who draws a terrific save from Simon Sluga.

The rebound shot from Joao Pedro is blocked by Matty Pearson.

Watford slinging the ball at the Hatters and Pearson has to clear behind.

    Wycombe 0-2 Swansea

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has removed his leather jacket and has now opted for a club-branded and warmer-looking padded coat.

It's windy and chilly at Adams Park and just over half an hour remains for his side to avoid a third straight defeat.

  8. Postpublished at 13:40 British Summer Time 26 September 2020

    Wycombe 0-2 Swansea

Fred Onyedinma picks up the ball for Wycombe about 25 yards out and tries an audacious driven shot to try to get his side back in this game.

The resulting strike sails high over the crossbar, however.

Swansea still look comfortable and will take shots like that from their opponents all day.

I'm sure this Luton kit is one of those viral colour things, because it looks red at times and orange at others.

The shade isn't as 'orangey' as the one Raddy Antic was wearing when his shot crept past Alex Williams for that famous Luton winner over Man City in 1983.

Anyway, I digress. Luton still batting for a breakthrough.

    Wycombe 0-2 Swansea

Soon after the restart, Dennis Adeniran goes in close on Swansea's Connor Roberts in the box and there's some shouts from the visitors for a penalty.

However a corner is eventually given and replays show that's about right as Adeniran gets a toe onto the ball.

The corner is quickly cleared by the hosts in any case.

    Watford 1-0 Luton

Luton right out of the blocks, sliding in to win the ball in the Watford half, putting James Collins in down the left and then winning a corner.

Hosts do enough to clear and Luton rebuild from the back. Tone-setting start.

    Watford 1-0 Luton

Watford are ahead at the break in this Championship derby with rivals Luton Town.

Joao Pedro tucked in at the back end of the half, just as Luton were rueing a close-range miss from James Collins - striking the bar.

Good, open game, still anyone's points to be had.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 26 September 2020

    Wycombe 0-2 Swansea

    Swansea celebrateImage source, PA Media

The half-time whistle is sounded and not a moment too soon for Wycombe who've looked way off the pace.

Swansea really ought to be about a few more up and have eased to the break at a canter.

  19. Postpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 26 September 2020

    Watford 1-0 Luton

Harry Cornick again the Luton outlet down the right but his cross is bulleted out by the Watford defence.

If someone attacks one of those deliveries in an orange shirt, there could be some joy for the Hatters.

  20. Postpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 26 September 2020

    Watford 1-0 Luton

Luton showing plenty of confidence about their play despite going behind, but attempts to get James Collins into the game are foiled by the flag of the referee's assistant.

He is playing right on the shoulder of the Hornets' centre-backs... if he keeps plugging away, law of averages, he'll get another chance.
