  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 39 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

    Nah, Kenny Tete cannot continue.

Off trots the Dutchman and on comes Aboubakar Kamara in his place.

    That will mean a reshuffle.

    Reverting to a back four?

It's so easy. The way Ollie Watkins comes inside Michael Hector is shocking, to allow him that easily onto his right foot. OK it's not on target, but they can easily nestle inside the far post.

Kenny Tete has been Fulham's most promising attacking outlet but the Dutchman is down on the turf.

It looks like a problem with his left calf.

This will be a further blow for Scott Parker.

  4. CLOSE!published at 34 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Beauty of a ball from Jack Grealish, setting Ollie Watkins free.

The Villa striker ghosts past Michael Hector onto his right peg but drills a shot over the angle.

    Always rising.

  5. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Better approach play from Fulham, working a triangle out wide to Joe Bryan but once again the cross is cleared.

  6. NOT CLOSE!published at 33 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Overconfidence from Jack Grealish, trying to play a cross-field ball from his the edge of his own box.

It finds only Ivan Cavaleiro but the Portuguese winger smashes it way over the crossbar and into the Thames.

This season is turning out to be a complete re-run of our last time out in the Premier League. We've tried dropping Cairney and Ream, and then going to three at the back. Exactly what we did last time to no effect. We'll be hiring Ranieri again in a month or two.

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Not sure what Fulham's tactics are at the moment.

Hit and hope sums it up really.

They've played 15 crosses into the Villa box in the opening half an hour.

None have really troubled Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa.

  9. CLOSE!published at 27 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

And it almost gets worse for the hosts.

So much space for Villa in the final third again, Mahmoud Trezeguet drills a low cross across the six-yard box but club record signing Ollie Watkins is unable to convert.

"FUL FORCE" reads the big home banner at Craven Cottage.

    "FUL FARCE" more like.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 23 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Fulham skipper Tom Cairney booked for a trip in the centre circle on Scotland team-mate John McGinn.

That's a harsh one, didn't look to be any contact.

  12. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Cross into Aleksandar Mitrovic seems to be the tactic.

    Not working at the moment.

Kenny Tete finds the Fulham striker once more, but the ball runs away into the grasp of Emiliano Martinez.

  13. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

Another headed opportunity for Aleksandar Mitrovic, from Joe Bryan's cross this time, another the Serbian fails to work the goalkeeper with.

  14. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

This is the earliest Villa have gone 2-0 up in a Premier League game since May 2011 (15 mins at Arsenal).

    Fulham 0-2 Aston Villa

It's nice play. Aston Villa are linking up well. The midfielders arrive in the box. But it's just so easy aganst Fulham. They've very static. The Fulham midfielders just let midfield runners drift off them.

Fulham are not at the races.

  16. goal

GOAL - Fulham 0-2 Aston Villapublished at 15 mins

    Conor Hourihane

    Oh dear.

So easy for Villa, they carve Fulham open all too easily.

It is worked rather nicely by the visitors though, with crisp one-touch passing.

Jack Grealish is involved again, of course, finding room in the box and fizzing a pass into the feet of John McGinn.

The Scot lays the ball off for Conor Hourihane to slide in a cool finish into the bottom corner.

  17. CLOSE!published at 14 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Aston Villa

Kenny Tete getting plenty of joy down the right and he swings another inviting cross in to the back post, Aleksandar Mitrovic is first to it again with a header which goes over.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Aston Villa

Just seeing a replay of the incident at 10 minutes, it looks like Bobby de Cordova-Reid was also given a yellow card.

Presumably for something he said to the referee.

  19. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Aston Villa

Jack Grealish's goal in the 4th minute is the earliest goal Aston Villa have scored away from home in the Premier League since Christian Benteke against Everton in February 2013 (second minute).

  20. CLOSE!published at 12 mins

    Fulham 0-1 Aston Villa

Fulham's Kenny Tete seeing plenty of the ball down the right-hand side.

The Dutchman arcs in a cross which Aleksandar Mitrovic meets but loops straight at Emiliano Martinez.
