Matt Lowton, to Erik Pieters, back to Lowton...

Sheffield United are pressing and hassling. Very good defending. Burnley haven't got too many options. They are the ones with all the possession though.

A quiet first taste so far.

    Wolves 0-0 Stoke

A chance for Wolves' new boy Fabio Silva.

He brings the ball down and has a go from long range but gets it all wrong. It sails well wide.

  9. Postpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

    Wolves 0-0 Stoke

A very quiet opening 10 minutes over at Wolves. Both teams just trying to keep possession. A bit stale.

Steven: A fair number of former Wolves players lining up against them tonight...

  12. CLOSE!published at 19:08 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

    Burnley 1-1 Sheffield United

Brilliant ball in from Matt Lowton on the right. It's whipped across the six-yard box and Matej Vydra dives to get his head on it, glancing it just wide.

Jay Rodriguez was coming in at the back post. He probably would have got there had Vydra left it...

Nothing of note at Molineux yet.

The winner of this match will host League One side Gillingham in the third round.

  15. Postpublished at 19:05 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

    Burnley 1-1 Sheffield United

Lovely first-time ball from Robbie Brady, which falls for Jay Rodriguez but his first touch lets him down.

The pace has just lifted at Turf Moor. Remember, we'll go straight to penalties if it stays 1-1 after 90 minutes.

  16. Postpublished at 19:02 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

    Burnley 1-1 Sheffield United

Burnley go looking for a second with Robbie Brady but Charlie Taylor's sloppy pass is straight into Billy Sharp.

He turns on the burners and tries to pick out Oli McBurnie but the pass isn't weighted enough.

Sharp then has a shot blocked in the box minutes later as Sheffield United look to react.

Daniel: Sorry but robinsons challenge on jbg was harsh, over zealous and was deserving of at least a yellow. Sheff united always been a physical side and thats another injury we could do without. probs out for season now .

  19. goal

GOAL - Burnley 1-1 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

    Matej Vydra

Knew Burnley would score as I wrote that. You can thank me later.

And what a goal it is too! It's whipped in from the right, chested down first-time by Jay Rodriguez into the path of Matej Vydra and he pounces on it in the six-yard box, lifting it over the keeper and into the far corner.

    Lovely finish. Game on!

    Burnley 0-1 Sheffield United

Billy Sharp looks to get on the ball a few minutes after coming on but Charlie Taylor slides across to make a decent tackle in the corner.

Over an hour gone and Sheffield United look set to go through unless Burnley can start creating some chances.
