    Penalty? NO.

Matej Vydra is offside! He had been played through by Ashley Westwood but had just strayed offside.

That was the first time he's really been able to get in behind. Inches.

    Burnley 0-1 Sheffield United

Ben Osborn wins a foul on the left and Oliver Norwood swings it in. It's curling dangerously in the six-yard box and Nick Pope has to tip it over.

    Encouraging signs for Burnley.

It's poked through by Matthew Lowton, looking for Jay Rodriguez, but he can't quite get there. Sheffield United just struggling to get a hold of the ball at the moment.

Robbie Brady puts a dangerous cross in towards the back post where Matej Vydra is waiting.

It's just slightly too overcooked. Not too far away!

  11. Postpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 17 September 2020

Not too many clear-cut chances so far. Lots of crosses coming in from both ends. All the play is taking place in wide areas.

Bit of a scramble in the Sheffield United box. The whistle goes for a foul in the build-up to the cross but James Dunne is in there, waving his arms at the ball like he's Diego Maradona.

Good job the whistle had already gone. Let's assume he already knew...

Sheffield United then counter, with David McGoldrick cutting inside off the left to have a go from the edge of the box. It's a comfortable save in the end.

Would need to see a replace but didn't look like a great challenge initially from Jack Robinson.

    A painful one, for sure.

A tough start for Burnley debutant James Dunne, who is getting a run out at centre-back.

He's 22 now but came through the youth set-up at Manchester United.
