The hosts have been so disciplined for so long but let their concentration slip for a minute and Paris St-Germain pounce!

It is Moise Kean who scores, smashing home a free header from a corner. Three goals in two games for the on-loan Everton man.

  4. CLOSE!published at 68 mins

    FK Krasnodar 0-1 Chelsea

Hakim Ziyech teases the defender with a stepover or two and snatches a shot away. It's a decent chance but he's falling as he shoots and doesn't get enough on it.

Krasnodar go up the other end and Edouard Mendy is forced into a save at the near post by Marcus Berg.

What's happening in this one, then? Not a lot is the answer.

Paris St-Germain just cannot get going and instead it is the hosts who are looking more and more likely to pinch it.

I got chatting to one of the security guards while I was waiting to be let in.

"We watched Leipzig training last night," he said. "They look a great side but I did spot one thing, their goalkeeper is really weak down to his right-hand side."

One for Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood if they're reading.

That aforementioned keeper is Hungarian Peter Gulasci, who spent six years at Liverpool but made just a handful of appearances, spending time on loan at Hereford, Tranmere and Hull.

It's Daniil Utkin who takes it but it's straight at the wall. He then completely skews the rebound.

Chelsea will welcome that all day long.

  8. Postpublished at 65 mins

Mateo Kovacic gives away a free-kick just outside the Chelsea area. A good position for Krasnodar, who have a few people around the ball.

The more this game goes on, the more you feel Krasnodar can get an equaliser. Chelsea need to kill it.

Tor Noppharat: This performance is bad. Lampard MUST do something.

Saroj Gurung: Shaw and Martial have always under performed to their full potential so should be no where near United first XI any more. Glad De Beek & Greenwood are starting. Bruno looked tired last few games so a rest was needed.

Tonny Vilhena manages to bundle past Mateo Kovacic on the left and puts in a good ball towards the near post.

It's hooked away, just, but only to Evgeni Chernov. He hits it full-on from the edge of the box but it's always too high.

    Not a bad effort!

  12. Postpublished at 60 mins

There's space for Chelsea in the middle as Hakim Ziyech picks out Timo Werner. He lays it off and Igor Smolnikov comes crashing into him - coming off worse for wear.

Chelsea play on but Ben Chilwell's cross is over everybody's heads. Eventually play is stopped but Smolnikov miracously returns to his feet.

Ted Clarke: In response to Joe, it’s apparently about 14 degrees C in Krasnodar today, not quite the Siberian level of cold most would associate with Russia in October!

Hudson-Odoi's final third play is not good enough and quite frankly, poor. Struggle to understand why we didn't take big money for him.

A stretcher has come out but Kurt Zouma, thankfully, is on his feet. Fikayo Tomori has been sent to warm up. I think Zouma might be okay to carry on.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 56 mins

    FK Krasnodar 0-1 Chelsea

Krasnodar break with numbers after that miscommunication and win a corner on the left.

It comes over to Yuri Gazinskiy, who volleys it into the ground. It bounces up and off the crossbar. There's a scramble in the middle and Edouard Mendy may have got something on it.

Kurt Zouma is down hurt as a result.

Cristian Ramirez twists and turns on the left, getting the better of Cesar Azpilicueta and firing a dangerous ball into the middle.

Jorginho is in the right place to slide in and intercept and Chelsea get it away.

They go up the other end but there's a lack of communication between Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Jorginho slips just as he tries to clear the ball on the byline. He's out wide so it's not a threat but that's another cheap corner.

Krasnodar try to play it short and get caught out by the offside flag.
