Alex: Re. Oliver (18:50) - on 28 January 2009, Indonesia played Australia in a qualification match for the 2011 Asian Cup. Australia's starting XI and substitutes had a total squad number of 1,047. Sadly, this stat is more interesting than the match itself, which finished 0-0.

Adam: In response to Oliver, Liverpool's shirt numbers added up to 1,289 when their reserves played Aston Villa in the EFL cup last December.

Re Krasnador shirt number calculation [18:50 Get Involved]. I think the Liverpool team for the League Cup against Villa last season is the number to beat.

Hakim Ziyech's cross doesn't reach Timo Werner at the back post but the clearance only comes out as far as Mateo Kovacic.

It falls for him nicely and he strikes it well, sending the ball fizzing just wide of the keeper's right post.

Cesar Azpilicueta is incensed as he heads behind a cross with nobody around him. It's a cheap corner for Krasnodar and the Chelsea skipper is asking why nobody communicated.

Luckily, the set-piece is headed well wide.

Gareth Hollyman: Any clarity on why Havertz gets in ahead of Mount who is clearly a better player. Is it just the £71m?

Abs Yesufu: Chill, people. This Chelsea team will gel and come good. In 10 games, you will see a run and the form table will be solid. Patience!

We should judge the team in January. Frank has got to be given time to integrate all these new players and let them find chemistry on the pitch, it's not going to be an easy fix especially given the tight match schedules

Security, as you can imagine, is pretty hefty at Old Trafford.

From car seat to stadium seat, there are around eight to 10 checkpoints to clear.

This includes sniffer dogs, collecting accreditation, temperature check, bag check and ticket check - which is sent to your phone.

    I'm finally in.

John Dunthorne: I get the feeling Werner is not really up for this game. Body Language not great.

Oliver Camp: This game is so boring that I've just calculated the Krasnodar squad's shirt numbers add up to 768. I don't think many teams will beat that.

Look at when Man Utd bought Vidic and Evra, took them half a season to come good, players will learn to adapt it just takes time and patience.

    Istanbul Basaksehir 0-0 Paris St-Germain

Half time in Istanbul and it hasn't been a classic. Paris St-Germain are really struggling to get into their groove but they haven't been helped by the departure of Neymar to injury midway through.

Kylian Mbappe probably had the best chance - and that's pushing it - when he lashed wide from a decent position.

The hosts, meanwhile, have looked a danger on the break.

Few will have bet on Manchester United to get a result in the opening group game against last season's runners-up Paris St-Germain, but Marcus Rashford MBE can do any wrong at the moment, firing in a late winner.

That victory has been one of three unbeaten games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side since the 6-1 humiliation at the hands of Tottenham.

Maximum points tonight will put them in a strong position to reach the knockout stages, but they face a formidable RB Leipzig side who are top of the Bundesliga and reached the semi-finals of the competition last season.

Kurt Zouma plays a nice diagonal pass over to Ben Chilwell. Chelsea are starting to open up the space now.

The corner swings in but it's well cleared. Kristoffer Olsson does really well on the left to get around Cesar Azpilicueta but his cross is straight into Edouard Mendy's arms.

  20. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    FK Krasnodar 0-1 Chelsea

Cesar Azpilicueta is found in space, again, on the right. He curls it into the middle and Kai Havertz meets it.

The young keeper puts pressure on him and does well, forcing Havertz' header over the bar, but he's offside anyway.
