  1. 'Rashford likes scoring against PSG'published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Man Utd 1-1 PSG

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Well Marcus Rashford likes scoring against PSG. Anthony Martial has not been in the game but picks the ball up on the left hand side of the box, his first shot is saved comfortably - as the ball is popped back to Rashford 18 yards out he sweeps the ball right-footed, Keylor Navas dives out of the way of it but I think it has taken a deflection.

  2. Barca rampant in Hungarypublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Ferencvaros 0-3 Barcelona

Who needs Lionel Messi? Most teams, admittedly.

However, without the rested maestro Barcelona have been at their dominant best in Hungary.

Striker Martin Braithwaite, who has been a menace in the opening period of the half, made it 2-0 when he converted Ousmane Dembele's cross from close range.

Dembele has now just fired from the spot after Abraham Frimpong fouled Braithwaite in the area.

    Sevilla 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea are back to looking good on the attack again and Mateo Kovacic is in a pocket of space on the edge of the Sevilla box but he takes his time to get a shot off and in the end it is blocked.

  4. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 1-1 PSGpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Marcus Rashford (32 mins)

And just like that United are level.

Anthony Martial hits a shot from outside the box which Keylor Navas parries away. It runs to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who pulls it back to Marcus Rashford.

Rashford hammers in a shot which takes a huge deflection off Danilo and wrongfoots Navas.

For now it's a Rashford goal, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an own goal.

  5. 'Better from United'published at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Man Utd 0-1 PSG

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Good little spell there from Man United, keeping possession. PSG giving themselves a bit of a break but they're under a spell of pressure there. Better from United but still nothing clear cut.

I'm a die hard United fan and that was a nailed on red card. Brainless by Fred. Ole needs to sub him off immediately.

    Joseph Dempsey

Astonished at that! Fred very very fortunate. Pathetic from the PSG man and they are very soft but wow, we've got away with one there!

Is the referee even allowed to give a yellow card on a VAR decision? I thought it was red or nothing.

    Karl, Manchester

Common sense prevails. That was NOT a headbutt. A coming together of heads, yes and does Fred move his head, sure. But don't let the PSG players reaction make you believe that it was a headbutt and that it actually hurt.

  8. Braithwaite continues scoring runpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Ferencvaros 0-2 Barcelona

Striker Martin Braithwaite has been a menace in the opening period of the half and gets his reward as he converts Ousmane Dembele's cross from close range.

That's the Dane's fourth goal in three games - he scored twice against Dynamo Kyiv in the previous Champions League match.

    What a clearance!

A Chelsea corner is headed down towards the bottom corner by Antonio Rudiger but Franco Vázquez comes flying out of nowhere to hook clear in mid-air.

Andrew Mitchell: Fred beyond stupid there. Not much in it, but why players do that is beyond me. If the ref applied the law as we usually see it, he should be off.

Iain Moss: Can someone ask Fred what Saturday's lotto numbers are for me? Clearly he's got all the luck in the world right now! How is that not a red? My mouth's still open!

  11. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

United are starting to get more of the ball now, I'd say they've been on top since whatever it is Fred was ruled to have done.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Sevilla 0-1 Chelsea

Better from Chelsea as they break quickly with Christian Pulisic leading a three on three charge. Pulisic doesn't see any passes on so he goes for goal himself and Alfonso Pastor makes a good save.

Robin Smit: Surely that's a clear and obvious error. That's poor from VAR. That's red all day long.

Nathan House: How on earth has Fred not been sent off there? Lucky, lucky man.

Jeester101: How on earth is Fred not in an early bath already? Absolutely appalling decision from the ref and that's coming from a United fan

Absolutely scandalous that that's not been given as a red card.

    John

If Pepe gets a red card against Leeds, Fred definitely deserves one, even clearer headbutt

  15. Is that really the rule?published at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Man Utd 0-1 PSG

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

I can only assume the referee has decided there is no aggressive intent there.

Sometimes players go head to head and get booked but there definitely seemed to be forward momentum from the Brazilian.

  16. Chiesa heads Juve into the leadpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Juventus 1-0 Dynamo Kyiv

Federico Chiesa does a great impression of Cristiano Ronaldo to give Juventus the lead with his first goal for the club.

The Italian forward, on loan from Fiorentina, climbs brilliantly to get above the Kyiv defence to divert Alex Sandro's ball past keeper Georgi Bushchan, who perhaps should have kept the ball out.

Finally a referee that accepts this is a group of men playing a game and acts rationally. PSG continue to be the most embarrassing team to watch in Europe. I'm surprised this rain in Manchester isn't enough to knock them down

  18. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Sevilla 0-1 Chelsea

Kai Havertz is down on the ground after getting caught on the back of his head by Diego Carlos as the two challenged for the ball.

The referee stops play to check on Havertz but he's OK and on we go again.

  19. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

    Man Utd 0-1 PSG

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I didn't think you were allowed to do that in this day and age. He's got away with one there, Fred, he really has. I thought any sort of gesture like that would be a red, I'm baffled with that.

When is a headbutt not a headbutt?
