Michael Reid: The United line-up is awfully peculiar tonight. With only needing a point, there's too many attacking players on the pitch. Not sure why Ole didn't stick with the trusty '5 at the back' that's done the trick so far.

At 05:45, Neymar's opener is the earliest Champions League goal conceded by Manchester United since September 2015, when Daniel Caligiuri scored after 03:53 for Wolfsburg.

The away team generally win this game - they have the past three meetings.

PSG's Alessandro Florenzi has a crack from the corner of the box which David de Gea parries away.

  5. 'Power and precision from Neymar'published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2020

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's actually started like a basketball match this, end to end. Kylian Mbappe with the left foot shot, play just opened up in the centre of the pitch. He passes Scott McTominay too easily, takes a deflection pops up and Neymar is alert, Alex Telles switches off and it's a devastating finish. David de Gea stands big but power and precision and PSG have the all important goal.

As things stand, Manchester United, Paris St-Germain and RB Leipzig are all on nine points.

If United lose today and then lose to Leipzig, they'll probably be out.

    Olivier Giroud (8 mins)

    It has been coming!

Olivier Giroud's late goal against Rennes last week ensured Chelsea's passage to the last 16 and he has put the Blues ahead now as they look to top the group.

Kai Havertz drives forward and picks out Giroud inside the box. The France striker takes a touch before curling into the far corner. Good finish.

    Sevilla 0-0 Chelsea

A great ball into the middle of the box by César Azpilicueta finds Christian Pulisic, who spins and sweeps a shot just wide of the post.

He should have done better but Sevilla can barely get out at the moment.

    PSG take the lead!

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar play a one-two, and Mbappe smashes in a 25-yard shot. It's deflected by a United defender and loops into the air. Neymar lets it bounce two or three times before blasting it past David de Gea from a tight angle.

All Chelsea in these early stages. Quick balls down the right for Callum Hudson-Odoi to chase seems to be the gameplan for the away side at the moment.

Tambuwal: Thomas Tuchel got it wrong again for PSG, he should play Mbappe through the middle, Di Maria at right wing and Neymar from left. Ander Herrera or Idrissa Gana ahead of Danilo Pereira for the middle holding role. Simple.
