HT: Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

This is only the second match in this season's Champions League to see neither side muster a shot on target in the first half.

Dynamo Kyiv v Ferencvaros in December also failed in that department.

It's been so frantic in the centre of the pitch. Everyone is swarming all over each other, desperate for a ball. Chelsea are being pig-headed saying 'we are going to play through this press every time'.

Porto have decided to turn this into a fight. Every ball is being contested all over the pitch - and they have been successful in doing that this first half.

What they haven't been successful in is creating chances.

HT: Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was applauding his side off the pitch at half time.

They have been resolute and haven't given much of a sniff to Porto, despite them dominating possession.

It's scrappy, it's lacking action, but that suits Chelsea.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

PSG 0-1 Bayern (agg 3-3, PSG would go through on away goals)

A great opening 45 minutes in Paris. The hosts hit the crossbar and post through Neymar within a matter of minutes of each other and Bayern then took the lead thanks to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's close-range header.

PSG will still be going through unless Bayern can get another. It is all set up for a thrilling second half.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

No problems for Chelsea. They still have a commanding two-goal lead.

Porto need to go for it at some point. They have to score at least twice to force extra time.

  10. 'Brave from Porto'published at 20:41 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is brave from Porto when they don't have the ball, because they are making Chelsea commit to one side of the pitch and their full-back is engaging with the wing back of Chelsea, whichever side it is on, then leaving three versus three at the back, wide across the pitch.

When Chelsea do get through that press - and it hasn't happened often. The opportunities are there, but Porto are going man-for-man pretty much across the pitch.

  11. goal

GOAL - PSG 0-1 Bayern (agg 3-3, PSG lead on away goals)published at 40 mins

    Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (Bayern)

Paris St-Germain hit the woodwork twice in a few minutes, but then they fall behind.

Keylor Navas in the PSG goal will be unhappy as he can only parry a David Alaba shot and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting gets above Presnel Kimpembe to head into the net from two yards out.

It won't be enough for Bayern as it stands though. They need another.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORK - Neymar (PSG)published at 20:40 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    PSG 0-0 Bayern (agg 3-2)

    Again!

That's twice in a few minutes that Paris St-Germain have hit the woodwork - Neymar with the shot off the foot of the post. He had been played in by Kylian Mbappe and that is two lucky let-offs for Bayern.

  13. Postpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

Marko Grujic slides it right to Jesus Corona but Jorginho is there to make the block.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORK - Neymar PSGpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    PSG 0-0 Bayern (agg 3-2)

So, so close to a PSG opener. Angel di Maria makes a bit of a mess of a free-kick, but PSG get lucky as the clearance only falls to Neymar. Some more great skill from him as he chops back inside to deceive Kingsley Coman and create some space and Neymar curls an effort which bounces off the bar.

    Almost a brilliant goal. Almost.

    PSG 0-0 Bayern (agg 3-2)

By the way, PSG's Angel di Maria, who needed some medical attention earlier on, is absolutely fine.

His team-mate Neymar, following step over after step over after step over, tries to squeeze a shot past Manuel Neuer but the goalkeeper gets down well at his near post to keep it out.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:34 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

Otavio lifts a really good ball in for Jesus Corona and he gets the better side of Ben Chilwell.

It's a decent chance too - as he's in on goal in the box - but he lashes at it.

  18. Postpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

No need to panic for Porto but they still haven't had a shot on goal yet after all this pressure and all this work.

Must be slightly infuriating for them - and worrying in the same measure...

  19. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    PSG 0-0 Bayern (agg 3-2)

Some wonderful skill from Neymar, who produces a Cruyff turn to try to get away from Lucas Hernandez, but the PSG man soon has a hold of his opponent's shirt as he tries to hold him off and is penalised.

  20. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 13 April 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Porto (agg 2-0)

It's a bit scrappy at the moment. Porto are doing their best to break down any Chelsea rhythm.

But for all their possession, Porto haven't created much. Their one big opportunity came from Edouard Mendy's mistake.
