Superb save by Richard Strebinger as he gets down quickly to stop an Alexandre Lacazette shot from close range. The flag is up with Nicolas Pepe offside but that was better from Arsenal.

    Arsenal 3-1 Rapid Vienna

Arsenal are far from the fast, fluent side in the first half but they have at least weathered the early storm from Rapid Vienna. Much more even now, but much more dull as a result.

Reiss Nelson's shot is blocked and Rapid Vienna break quickly. The lively Koya Kitagawa has the ball on the right but puts his cross too close to Alex Runarsson.

Richard Browne: Arsenal don't play Rapid Vienna in the Premier League ; that's why Arsenal don't play that way in the league!

We do play like this in the league. But the Austrian league is probably the equivalent of our championship/league 1. Arsenal have played well but we are still a very poor side.
