  1. goal

    GOAL - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiakos (3-2 agg)published at 51 mins

    Youssef El Arabi

A glimmer of hope for the Greek side. Dani Ceballos gives the ball away and it is passed to Youssef El Arabi, who produces a stepover to give himself some space in the box and then his shot takes a huge deflection off Gabriel to leave Bernd Leno wrong-footed.

One goal for Olympiakos. They need two more.

Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)

Olympiakos midfielder Kostas Fortounis shoots wide from the edge of the penalty area, although Arsenal should've had a free-kick when David Luiz was barged in the back by Youssef El Arabi.

Anyone criticising Alli need to remember he had Dembele and Eriksen in their prime playing with him when he was banging in goals and assists. He now has Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko.

    Jonn, Kenilworth

Whilst I agree this has been less than stellar, it's 0-0 in the 2nd leg of tie where Arsenal have 3 away goals. Game management.

Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)

Olympiakos are going to need some second half to get themselves into the last eight. Three goals without reply will do it.

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

Here we go again. The second half is under way. No changes for either side.

AC Milan and Manchester United, two sides with great Champions League pedigrees are battling it out in the last 16 of the Europa League.

With them both second in their respective countries, Champions League football could well be back on the cards for both next season.

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

Spurs' total of four shots against Dinamo is their lowest in the first half of a Europa League game this season.

    Playing within themselves maybe?

  10. How things stand in the last 16published at 18:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

    Half-time in the early matches...

    • Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)
    • Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)
    • Molde 1-0 Granada (1-2 on aggregate)
    • Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 Roma (0-3 on aggregate)

We're saving the drama for later on tonight.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:43 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

So far so good for Tottenham though I'm sure manager Jose Mourinho will be having a quiet word about one or two bits of sloppy play.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:43 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)

Arsenal are 45 minutes from the quarter finals. Just the one scare when Bernd Leno made a very good save to deny Youssef El Arabi.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should have hit the target from 12 yards out but shot just over the bar. Goalless at the Emirates, but Arsenal in control of the tie.

  13. CLOSE!published at 18:42 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

That's excellent from Erik Lamela for Spurs. Picking up the ball deep, the Argentine drives forward and picks out Lucas Moura, who in turn transfers the ball to Harry Kane.

The England forward is in on goal but a little wide and sees his effort saved by home keeper Dominik Livakovic.

Arsenal so far... No movement, no creativity and a centre forward who’d rather be sat on a beach with a Pina colada. Arsenal are better when Aubameyang doesn't play.

Well, it's certainly an opinion. Remember to stick your names on texts though.

Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)

Nicolas Pepe is penalised to give Olympiakos a free-kick 35 yards out. But it only finds the head of Granit Xhaka and the Gunners clear their lines.

  16. CLOSE!published at 18:38 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

Feels like a copy and paste job.

Another big moment that Dinamo can't take. Lovro Majer is at it again running at the Spurs back four and seeing his cross flick off Davison Sanchez towards the bottom left corner.

Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris scrambles over to palm the ball to safety.

  17. CLOSE!published at 18:33 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

Great chance. Lovro Majer gets in down the left and flashes an effort just wide of the bottom bin from 15 yards or so.

The Dinamo playmaker should have done better from there.

How costly could that miss prove to be for the hosts?

  18. Postpublished at 18:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Arsenal 0-0 Olympiakos (3-1 on aggregate)

Both sides have only had one shot on target so far, with the Gunners indebted to Bernd Leno's fine save to deny Youssef El Arabi.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

Crikey what a corner that is. Talk about corner-kick routines gone wrong.

Dinamo midfielder Lovro Majer (who as an aside looks a bit like a young Luka Modric) tries to loft the ball towards the edge of the box but succeeds in setting up a Spurs counter.

Kristijan Jakic doesn't look best pleased by that and gets a booking for fouling Lucas Moura.

  20. Postpublished at 18:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Tottenham (0-2 on aggregate)

    That's better from Tottenham.

Jose Mourinho's side look so much better when they attack with pace and Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela all almost profit down the left.

The Argentine, who was booked a few minutes back for an aerial challenge, sees his shot well blocked.
