  3. Hibs have 'good attacking options' - Rosspublished at 17:55 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

Hibernian boss Jack Ross joins BBC Sportsound to preview tomorrow's meeting with Rangers at Easter Road.

The Edinburgh side are ticking along nicely in third place and would go level with the visitors with a win. However, Rangers are unbeaten and have yet to concede a goal in the league.

"We've picked a team and system that we think will give us opportunities to create and score but we will need to execute every aspect properly," says Ross.

"It's not a case of us trying to cling on and hope to nick a scrappy goal. We've got to look at areas where we are strong and we have good players going forward. I have good attacking options."

  4. Tait 'has made a big mistake' - Goodwinpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: Dundee United 2-1 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin had some degree of sympathy for Richard Tait, who was sent off in their 2-1 defeat to Dundee United.

He tells BBC Scotland: Tait has been outstanding since he came in. He's a top, top player. The frustration showed there from the opening 10 minutes of the second half. He's made a big mistake there. And now we have to do without an experienced player for a few games."

On the game, Goodwin was left frustrated by his side's defending.

"I thought in the first half everything was going according to plan up until the corner, and Lawrence Shankland was given far too much time and space in the box. Up until the goal I felt we were the better team.

"The second half, for whatever reason, we became far too disjointed. We've conceded 12 goals this season but I think nine of them are from crosses."

  5. 'No mad rush for new signing', says Lennonpublished at 17:46 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Livingston

Celtic manager Neil Lennon also tells BBC Sportsound that the club is "actively looking" for new faces, but adds "there's no mad rush to get one in".

Support / competition for Greg Taylor would appear to be a priority, following the departure of Boli Bolingoli, with Lennon admitting that he is light on the left flank.

He also dismisses reports of a bid for Kristoffer Ajer, criticising "disappointing headlines" and scoffing at the £14m price tag.

On the Norwegian defender, the message is simple. "We don't want to sell him," says Lennon.

  6. Second Celtic goal offside - Holtpublished at 17:43 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Livingston

Livingston head coach Gary Holt on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound: "I'm probably frustrated that we've come here played so well and conceded some soft goals.

"We threatened. When we get back to 3-2, we had them rattled. We got opportunities, we had chances.

"The second goal is offside for them. Taylor's offside. That's the sticking one for us. That's the decision that you need to go your way. It's a sore one."

  7. Davidson pleased despite losspublished at 17:40 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Ross County

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson is fairly upbeat despite a fourth 1-0 loss of the season.

"First half, I thought we dominated the game, so to go in 1-0 down was hard to take. I thought we had a go second half, they gave it everything to try and get that goal. But unfortunately when you lose that first goal, it makes it very difficult.

"We're doing all the right things, and I believe it'll come. I was actually really pleased with how they played today. It was very hard to speak to them after, it was hard to have a chat with them about what went wrong because so many things went right."

  8. Dundee United 'unbelievable' - Mellonpublished at 17:36 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: Dundee United 2-1 St Mirren

Dundee United manager Micky Mellon tells BBC Scotland: "I think in the second half we played some unbelievable football. The one-touch football, the amount of chances that we had, I think we have to say that we deserved the win.

"We've not had Lawrence Shankland since the first game of the season. Anyone would miss their talisman. It's not just his goals, it's his all-round play.

"We've had a tough spell - playing Rangers and Celtic almost back-to-back with Kilmarnock in between. We never let ourselves get carried away or listen to the white noise. We just knuckled down, worked hard, and we move on again."

  9. Win a 'massive boost' - Kettewellpublished at 17:32 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: St Johnstone 1-0 Ross County

Ross County manager Stewart Kettlewell is a satisfied man, especially after a clean sheet.

"All week we've spoken about the odd goal being the difference in a game like this one away from home against a team that's evenly matched with ourselves," he told BBC Scotland.

"Really disappointed with the goals we lost last week [in the 5-0 loss to Celtic], and it was the complete opposite to what we got today. The way we defended our penalty box, we had a solid shape throughout the game, we had spells where we looked very comfortable, and I'm just delighted to come away with the three points and the clean sheet, which is a massive boost for what the players put in to the game."

  10. Celtic 'made life hard' in win - Lennonpublished at 17:28 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Livingston

Celtic manager Neil Lennon on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound: "We made life hard for ourselves in the last 10 minutes by giving away a poor goal.

"I'm not happy about both the penalty decisions. I thought we could've had a penalty quite easily and it's debatable whether Livingston's is a penalty. We reacted very well, we scored two brilliant goals.

"And then with the third goal, you're thinking, '3-1, we're very, very comfortable in the game, in control'. We concede a poor goal from our point of view. Good strike from Serrano but we should've dealt with it early.

"I'm happy we're creating the chances. We scored three really good goals today, it should've been more. Conceded another penalty, which is really frustrating. We need to tidy up on a few things defensively."

  12. Celtic take over at the toppublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

So, Celtic are the big movers, taking over top spot - for now anyway. Rangers, who play Hibs tomorrow lunchtime, are level on points and goal difference - but haven't scored as many.

Dundee United and Kilmarnock also nudge up the table, while Motherwell are off the bottom without even playing as Livingston drop a place after letting in three at Celtic Park.

  13. 'Shankland the deciding factor'published at 17:15 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: Dundee Utd 2-1 St Mirren

    Derek Ferguson
Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

    Quote Message

It was a strange game because I feel St Mirren were definitely the better side in the first half but the quality of finishing was the difference for Dundee United. Once Shankland got the goal he came to life and had some really nice touches.

  14. 'A big afternoon for County'published at 17:10 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Ross County

    Allan Preston

    Quote Message

This was a deserved victory for Ross County. St Johnstone have had a couple of good chances towards the end of the game, but in the main County were on top. Stopping the run of losses will mean a lot. Vigurs was easily man of the match and ran the show today.

  15. 'Celtic need to see out games better'published at 17:03 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Livingston

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

This game should have been out of sight for Celtic and I thought it was after the third goal. Neil Lennon will be happy with the result but more work will need to be done for them to see out games better.

  16. FULL-TIME Dundee United 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

They took a while to get going but when they did Dundee United played some good stuff and could have won more comfortably.

Lawrence Shankland's fine volley opened the scoring and Adrian Sporle added a second during a period of early second-half dominance.

St Mirren have now lost four in a row and their cause was not helped by Richard Tait's red card for a lunge at Logan Chalmers. Dylan Connolly's goal gave them a lifeline, but United did enough to get home with maximum points.

  17. FULL-TIME Celtic 3-2 Livingstonpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

Much closer than expected in the end but Celtic get the win that takes them top of the Scottish Premiership after goals from Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Albian Ajeti.

Plaudits but no points for Livingston, who netted through Jason Holt and Julien Serrano, but they would much prefer points after going bottom. That late miss is going to hurt.

  18. Huge let-off for Celticpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Celtic 3-2 Livingston

Oh my word, what a chance for Livingston to plunder an equaliser!

Alan Forrest swings in a cross from the left and substitute Carlo Pignatiello has a free header six yards out. However, he gets it all wrong and sends the ball flying well wide of the inviting target.

  19. FULL-TIME Kilmarnock 2-1 Hamiltonpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

That's it at Rugby Park, with no real drama during the long period of stoppage time.

Accies looked like they would cause Killie plenty of problems in the second half after Eamonn Brophy was given a first-half red.

But Killie regrouped and Nicke Kabamba put the hosts in front just before the hour mark, with Accies failing to put any sustained pressure on the Killie goal in the remainder of the match.

Brian Rice will be disappointed given his side's position at half-time, but for Alex Dyer and Kilmarnock, it's a big three points.
