There didn't seem to be too much intent in the challenge from Brophy but it's a silly one to make and I think it's the correct decision.

  2. Penalty drama at both ends at Celtic Parkpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Celtic 2-1 Livingston

Celtic have wasted no time in recovering from the loss of that early penalty, perhaps angered by being denied what looked like a strong case for a spot-kick of their own when Ryan Christie's low shot was blocked by a stray arm in the six-yard box.

Livingston quickly broke away and Scott Tiffoney's cross came off Kristoffer Ajer's hand, which was a clear cut case.

And now Celtic are in front - seven minutes after they went behind.

Greg Taylor and Callum McGregor exchange passes before the former crosses low for Ryan Christie to turn past Robby McCrorie from close range.

  4. RED CARDpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Hamilton

Eamonn Brophy is sent off for the hosts. The forward attempts to close down Scott McMann, but goes in with studs up and makes contact with McMann's shin. Killie are down to ten.

    Quote Message

The strike from McGregor is sweet as a nut. He hits across it right into the top corner. Celtic have shown more defensive frailties here but they've still got a lot of quality going forward.

  6. Open game at Tannadicepublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Dundee United 0-0 St Mirren

Both Dundee United and St Mirren have lost their last three matches, and before the game visiting manager Jim Goodwin was confident it would be an open game.

The best of the early chances fell for the visitors, with Lee Erwin getting himself in between two United defenders but he can only get a slight nick on the ball and it's an easy save for Benjamin Siegrist.

The expected response from Celtic and they get level with Callum McGregor lining up a shot on the left edge of the box and his strike deflecting past Robby McCrorie.

  8. Change in defence for Countypublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County

An early substitution for Ross County as Connor Randall is forced off. Keith Watson comes on in his place.

    Quote Message

It's an excellent penalty from Holt. He's got real power on the shot and it's right in the corner. The keeper has got no chance with that.

Well that lead didn't last long! An inswinging corner finds Hakeem Odoffin, with the defender's initial header saved by Danny Rogers, but he's on hand to poke in the rebound.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County

St Johnstone's players have had their hands in the air twice in the last few minutes claiming for a penalty for handball.

First, Callum Hendry rifles a shot which hits Connor Randall. That one didn't look like a handball, but not long after Ali McCann's cross strikes the outstretched arm of Ian Vigurs, but referee David Munro is unmoved.

  13. PENALTY TO LIVINGSTONpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Moments after a strong appeal for the hosts, Livingston race away and are awarded a spot-kick for a handball from Kristoffer Ajer.

  14. Livi set their stall outpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Visiting teams should never get too comfortable at Celtic Park but Livingston have made a decent start defensively in Glasgow.

Still a long day ahead of Gary Holt's side as they bid to be the first team to take points away from home against Celtic in 2020.

Ryan Christie's free-kick for Celtic is off target.

  15. 'Kiltie will always cause problems'published at 15:15 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

Greg Kiltie has picked up from where he left off last week. There was some doubt about his Kimarnock career last season but I'm sure the fans will want him to continue at Rugby Park with the way he's started the season.

A wonderful run from Chris Burke as he slaloms between three players before slipping in Greg Kiltie, who slots the ball in at the near post.

  18. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County

Two decent chances for St Johnstone to break their first-half scoring duck. First, Scott Tanser lashes over on the angle after good work by Danny McNamara down the left.

Then David Wotherspoon turns in the box and gets his shot away, but it drifts past the post.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hamilton

Quiet start at Rugby Park, but Chris Burke has just attempted a similar free-kick to the one that nestled in the corner against Hibernian back on the opening day. He doesn't get the same connection this time, and it rolls wide.

  20. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 19 September 2020

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Celtic move the ball from side to side as they try to unlock the Livingston defence and Olivier Ntcham gets away a shot that comes off a defender's head then the Frenchman is penalised for wrestling with his opponent.

Livi move upfield and capitalise on some slack defending as Jason Holt gets in a shot from the edge of the box but it too is blocked.
