In League One, Fleetwood claimed a 2-0 win at Gillingham for their first away points of the season.
In League Two, Exeter claimed a 3-1 win at home against lowly Scunthorpe.
Millwall 0-0 Barnsley
Barnsley were forced to make two late changes to their side before kick-off.
Top scorer Cauley Woodrow and Jordan Williams drop out, with Conor Chaplin and Clarke Oduor coming into the XI.
Tykes midfielder Matty James is making his first senior start since he played for Leicester in an FA Cup tie at Newport in January 2019.
Reading 0-0 Rotherham
The 15:00 BST kick-offs are getting under way across the EFL.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Coventry City are bidding for a first win in five and a first "home" win of the season when they entertain a Blackburn Rovers side which has lost their last two.
Huddersfield Town have turned the corner under Carlos Corberan, winning three of their past four. The Terriers welcome Preston North End, who registered their second victory of the campaign at Queens Park Rangers in midweek.
That defeat made it five games without a win for Mark Warburton's QPR. The west London club play host to Birmingham City, who have also not won since the opening day.
Aitor Karanka's men have suffered back-to-back 1-0 defeats at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich.

The Owls prop up the table after having a 12-point deduction imposed for breaking EFL financial regulations.
Wednesday have chipped eight points off that deficit, but currently sit eight points from safety.
Garry Monk's men have won just one of their past five, and are enduring a poor run at home to boot.
They are winless in nine league games at Hillsborough - their worst run at the famous old ground since the mid 1970s.
Visitors Luton Town have lost three of their last four.
League Two preview

Cambridge United lead the way in the fourth tier, having scored 18 goals en route to five wins so far this season.
Paul Mullin has 10 of them, including seven in his past three games after a hat-trick against Port Vale in midweek.
The U's welcome Bolton Wanderers, who were among the favourites for promotion in pre-season but have won just once under new boss Ian Evatt.
Second-placed Newport County travel to Bradford while third-placed Cheltenham Town entertain winless Mansfield Town.
Southend prop up the EFL, having taken two points from their first seven games.
In the early kick-off, Exeter lead Southend 3-1, with that game in injury time.

Cardiff v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)
Image source, Rex FeaturesGiven the number of former clubs on his CV, Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock is never too far away from a trip to a former employer.
Warnock left Cardiff last November, but then took the Boro job in June and promptly saved the Teessiders from relegation.
His new club won at Bristol City on Tuesday, making it five unbeaten in the league.
Cardiff City are looking to at least repeat their top-six finish from last season.
It's been a mixed bag at the start of the new campaign for the Bluebirds, who've won two, drawn two and lost two.
Cardiff are one of a number of sides who are yet to register a home win.
Norwich v Wycombe (15:00 BST)

Their debut season at this level has begun with six straight defeats, with just one goal scored and 13 conceded in the process.
They travel to a Norwich City side who suffered their fair share of defeats last season as they were relegated from the Premier League - 27 to be precise.
The Canaries sit in eighth after registering back-to-back victories for the first time this season.
But those two wins have come courtesy of 95th and 87th minute goals - will Daniel Farke's side leave it late again today?

Ipswich slipped off the top after defeat at Doncaster in midweek and travel to third-placed Lincoln City.
Sunderland are the only club in the division with an unbeaten record, and the Black Cats welcome Portsmouth.
The A420 derby between Oxford and Swindon and Accrington's game against Bristol Rovers are both off because of positive coronavirus tests.
In the early kick-off, Fleetwood lead Gillingham through Paddy Madden's goal. The Gills are down to 10 men with about five minutes plus stoppages left.

Michael O'Neill has got his side ticking along nicely, and the Potters are unbeaten in four matches heading into this one.
They are yet to win at home in the league, but have always had the upper hand over Brentford.
Stoke are unbeaten in 13 previous home league games against the west Londoners.
This Bees squad may provide a sterner challenge, as they look to secure a third successive win.
Ivan Toney, a summer signing from Peterborough, has found his shooting boots of late - netting seven goals in his past four games.

Adam Murray has a final game in interim charge of the Tykes, who - along with Wycombe - are yet to register a Championship win in 2020-21.
The South Yorkshire side travel to The Den having drawn three of their last four.
Millwall moved into the top six after beating Luton Town in midweek.
The Lions are now looking to record three wins in a row for the first time since January 2019.
They'll have to do it without manager Gary Rowett, who has tested positive forCovid-19 and is now self-isolating for 10 days. His assistant Adam Barrett takes charge at The Den.

The Robins didn't create much, and gifted Boro a goal when defender Taylor Moore gave possession away on the edge of his own box from a goal kick.
Dean Holden's men face another test of their promotion credentials this afternoon when they host Swansea City.
The Welsh side were beaten play-off semi-finalists last season and have also only suffered one defeat so far in the new campaign.
The Swans were held 1-1 at Coventry in midweek, so are searching for a first win in three.

That run means the Royals have made their best start to a season since 1985-86, and Veljko Paunovic's men have only conceded one goal in the league so far.
Rotherham United boss Paul Warne is back from a period of self-isolation, with the Millers five without a win since their opening day victory at Wycombe.
It's fair to say the 47-year-old did not appreciate watching his side from home on a stream with a slight time delay.
"Matchdays in the garden shed were bordering on disgusting," Warne told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"It was very unenjoyable and stressful position to be in. I don't really want to have that again."
The Millers have not won a league games at Reading since 1977.

That late Bournemouth equaliser denies Watford a fourth home win of the season.
Watford looked destined to claim a fifth clean sheet but Chris Mepham's injury-time equaliser means the Cherries remain unbeaten.
Stipe Perica had given the hosts an early lead before later going off with a shoulder injury in a feisty encounter.
The Hornets move up to second before the 15:00 BST games.
