Plenty for Zinedine Zidane to mull over during these 15 minutes. His side have seen plenty of the ball but not much creativity in the final third. They managed just the one shot on target in those first 45 minutes.

German Bundesliga

Bayern Munich have taken the lead again in the German Supercup and it's an improvised finish by Joshua Kimmich. The midfielder had pinched the ball midway inside the Dortmund half, played a one-two with Robert Lewandowski but as he was falling under a challenge inside the box he flicked the ball over the keeper with his heel.

Just a few minutes left in that one with Bayern leading 3-2.

Another crack from distance by the visitors and they are not far off as Waldo sweeps just wide of the upright.

Valladolid have been really good at getting numbers up on the break but are falling short once they get into the final third.

Fabian Orellana turns just outside the Real Madrid box, sees space and a shooting opportunity but thumps an effort straight at Thibaut Courtois.

Nice move by Real Madrid as Luka Modric knocks the ball into Luka Jovic's path but the striker smashes a first-time effort into the sidenetting.

Not sure Zinedine Zidane will be particularly impressed with Jovic's finishing so far in this game.

An awkward cross is tipped away by Thibaut Courtois before a Real Madrid defender takes no chances by putting the ball behind for a Valladolid corner. It is played short but comes to nothing.

Good little spell for the visitors at the moment, however.

Real Madrid have had 74% of the possession so far but just the one shot on target to show for it - Federico Valverde's effort that was well saved by Roberto. This is a bit of a slow burner.

Chance on the break for Valladolid - four against three. A lovely ball behind the defence finds Oscar Plano, who tries to cut it back but Real Madrid clear.

Roberto goes route one to try and catch out a Real Madrid defence that has push high up the pitch. Oscar Plano rises to meet the ball but only succeeds in helping it through to Thibaut Courtois.

Isco tries to get a bit of a boost off Karim Benzema, leaping off his team-mate's back to try and meet a cross but ends up chesting it wide.

Isco laughs but I don't think Benzema has seen the funny side of it. He thought that was his chance to take.

Quick break by Real Madrid and a brilliant ball by Federico Valverde is behind the defence and seemingly on a plate for Luka Jovic but the forward hits his first time effort over the bar.

That Supercup game is a significant one for referee Bibiana Steinhaus.

The 41-year-old, the first female to officiate in Europe's top five leagues, is retiring at the end of it.

Steinhaus has refereed 23 Bundesliga matches since making her debut in 2017.

Certainly been a lively game to sign off with.
