Great save by Roberto as the former West Ham goalkeeper gets a big hand to deny Federico Valverde's shot. It was a particularly good save because Roberto saw it late in a crowded area but reacted quickly.

Earlier, Luis Suarez made his first start for Atletico Madrid but was unable to mark it with a goal as his side drew 0-0 with Huesca.

"We gave everything but in the end we didn't create the chances we wanted to," said Atletico midfielder Saul Niguez.

"We expect to be fighting for the La Liga title this season like everyone else, it's a pity it didn't work for us today, I think we deserved to win but we're playing against a tough team who didn't let us get the three points."

Another blow for Eden Hazard as he looked to put his injury woes behind him.

The former Chelsea forward's time at Real Madrid has been blighted by injuries but he had hoped to make his first appearance of the season tonight, only for the club to confirm earlier today that he will out with a muscle injury in his leg.

Hazard made just 22 appearances for Real last season, scoring one goal. He described his debut season with the club as "the worst" of his career., external
