And then Kamara goes in the book as he stops a Brentford break, pulling back Josh Da Silva.

Aboubakar Kamara now cuts inside from the right but sweeps a low effort across the face of goal. Fulham are getting into their groove now after a bright start by the hosts.

Neeskens Kebano is brought down by Saman Ghoddos and Fulham have a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Right then, the players are out on the pitch. There's no spectators of course for this one - apart from one builder getting a glimpse of the action from up on some scaffolding around some flats being built behind the stadium.

Fulham have conceded 10 goals in just three games on their return to the Premier League but their defence has been pretty tight in the EFL Cup. They are yet to concede a goal after beating Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday to get to this stage.

Fulham boss Scott Parker, speaking to Sky Sports: "We will keep working hard at it. It is easy to point fingers just at the defence at times but as always it is a team as a collective trying to stop goals going in.

"Winning always helps, we haven't managed to get off the mark in the league but this is a competition against good opposition tonight. It will be a good test and hopefully we can get a win."

Fulham get their first experience of Brentford's new stadium tonight.

The Bees are unbeaten in their two games there so far, beating Wycombe on penalties in the EFL Cup before winning 3-0 against Huddersfield in the Championship.

Fulham's only wins so far this season have come in this competition, so they will be hoping to keep that going this evening.

Oh, the Champions League group stage draw has just been made after a build up of what's felt like forever.
