Switzerland

End to end stuff in Cologne as Switzerland hold onto their lead heading into the break.

Switzerland will be thrilled with that first-half performance - they need a win tonight to avoid the prospect of relegation to group B.

Good start to the second half by Turkey as a neat one-two presents Halil Dervisoglu with a sight of goal and he drives an effort from distance that Aaron Ramsdale bats away.

Spain

No way through for Spain then as Ukraine keeper Georgi Bushchan has been a formidable barrier.

As it stands Spain will have a three-point lead still though - with Ukraine just one back from Germany.

Turkey make a change for the second half as Burak Kapacak comes on for Ahmet Canbaz.

Looking at the stats and you would think Turkey have been the better side going forward. They've had three shots on target to England's one although I'm struggling to think of a decent effort from the visitors apart from that Ahmet Canbaz shot that brought out a fine save by Aaron Ramsdale.

Spain

Rodrigo has gone close with another effort as Spain continue to pile on the pressure in the stadium where they won Euro 2012. No breakthrough yet though for Luis Enrique's side.

Germany

Plenty of action in Cologne!

Switzerland double their lead as Remo Freuler chips the ball over keeper Manuel Neuer to go two goals in front. But moments later Chelsea's Timo Werner pulls one back for the home side with a lovely finish into the bottom right corner.

Game on.

No stoppage time added on at the end of the half and it is advantage England at the break.

Comfortable, but still feels like the hosts could do with another though.

England then break quickly as Callum Hudson-Odoi surges into the box. He goes down under a challenge but it is a great tackle and England have a corner, which is cleared.

Jude Bellingham is then booked for a foul, but it looks a soft decision.

England need that second because Turkey are not out of this as Aaron Ramsdale pulls off a great save!

Ahmet Canbaz finds himself in lots of space just outside the box and powers an effort at goal that Ramsdale dives to push away one-handed.

Oliver Skipp is booked as he bundles over Beraat Ozedmir. It felt like England would really kick on after taking the lead but the tempo of the game has really dropped off now.

Spain

No goals yet in Kiev but Spain have had three good chances in just a few minutes. Leeds' Rodrigo has gone close twice, having a shot tipped over and then flashing a header wide.

Callum Hudson-Odoi powers past the Turkey fullback and drives a ball towards the near post but keeper Altay Bayindir pushes away.

Looks like Turkey have been instructed to push up more and they win a corner as Serkan Asan's cross is knocked behind.

From the delivery, Ravil Tagir hooks a shot goalwards but it is easy pickings for Aaron Ramsdale.

Callum Hudson-Odoi gets back to cut out Berat Ozdemir's pass out wide and stop a rare Turkey attack.

Now Ryan Sessegnon is played through by Josh Dasilva, Altay Bayindir is quick off his line to take the ball from Sessegnon's feet but the flag was up for offside anyway.

Nice idea from Callum Hudson-Odoi as he slips a ball through the defence for Eddie Nketiah but the Arsenal forward is flagged offside.

Very close call.

Eddie Nketiah for a brief moment thinks he's broken the record to become England Under-21s leading scorer when he taps in after Josh Dasilva's shot had hit the post, but he was offside.

It was another nice attacking move that led to that chance, though.

Switzerland

Just six minutes played so far in Germany but there's been a goal and it's Mario Gavranović for Switzerland who has given the visitors an early lead.
