    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Leeds send on new signing Raphinha, while Wolves replace one Portuguese midfield dreamboat with another. It's Ruben Neves on for Joao Moutinho.

  2. CLOSE!published at 80 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Pablo Hernandez almost makes a great entrance, shooting over the top - good block actually from Willy Boly. Can Wolves see this out?

  3. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Kalvin Phillips is now playing in defence, and Leeds are back on the push. Jack Harrison overlaps nicely down the left but overclubs his cross, over the back of the green and into someone's garden.

  4. Hard to beatpublished at 75 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Wolves are unbeaten in their last 25 Premier League matches in which they scored the opening goal (W22-D3-L0), since a 2-1 away defeat at Cardiff City on 30 November 2018.

    Pablo Herdandez is now on.

It's a long diagonal ball, Pascal Struijk slips. Jimenez runs across the edge of the box, shapes to shoot with his left foot, and it's a tame effort that Meslier would have saved easily. Phillips tries to block it but it goes in off him.

Wolves offered nothing in the first half but now have the lead.

  6. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Adama Traore gets the ball out of his feet and just burns away from Jack Harrison, who's no slouch but is made to look it. He finds Pedro Neto, whose shot is blocked.

  7. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Can Leeds respond? They send on Ian Poveda, and Pablo Hernandez is coming on as well.

  8. goal

GOAL - Leeds 0-1 Wolvespublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Raul Jimenez (70 mins)

Maybe there is a footballing god after all. Wolves would have been ahead were it not for the pesky VAR cameras and now they are ahead thanks to a very fortunate deflection.

Human error on this occasion. Raul Jimenez picks it up on the right, cuts across right across the edge of the penalty area and chops back on to his right foot.

His shot is on target but it's going to be a very easy save until Kalvin Phillips gets his head in the way and sends it into the opposite corner.

A lead for the visitors is the upshot.

  9. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Twice Wolves ping the ball out towards Adama Traore, twice Stuart Dallas cuts it out. Well played.

  10. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Joao Moutinho is now in the book for bringing down his man and stopping a Leeds attack. Adama Traore has gone on the right of a front three for Wolves.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Adama Traore is on, Daniel Podence the unlucky man to come off. He'd had a strong second half.

  12. VAR or no VAR?published at 21:23 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Everyone's got a view on it but it's simple for me. Has VAR made football better?

A big thumbs down for me but feel free to have your say...

  14. Traore or no?published at 21:20 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

This has given Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo food for thought of whether to throw Traore on or not. This cannot have been part of the gameplan where they couldn't connect up in the first half and now they are.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 61 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Kalvin Phillips is late on Joao Moutinho, treading on his toes, and he's in the book. A sign of frustration for Leeds who have lost that momentum.

  16. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

I saw a colleague of mine describe Wolves defender Maximilian Kilman as a Bond villain the other day and Leeds have their own out there tonight.

Pascal Struijk, a commodities dealer with an eye for control of the stockmarket, cuts out a fine cross from the left.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 56 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Wolves much the better side at the moment. Daniel Podence cuts in from the right wing once more, gets the ball on to his left foot and drills in a low shot which is going in until Illan Meslier gets a big hand on it. Good save.

  18. Postpublished at 56 mins

More deflation from Stockley Park. The goalkillers are at it again...

  19. 'You have to feel for Wolves'published at 21:13 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Chris Sutton

Stunning from Saiss. It was a wonderful cross-field ball to him.

The offside is so, so close. You have to feel for Wolves. It was such a brilliant strike.

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Nope, Daniel Podence was offside in the build-up and the goal is chalked off.

    Sigh.
