Despite Leeds having 67% possession with 30 minutes played, Patrick Bamford has had the fewest touches of any player on the pitch so far (four).

This is not a classic. And when the attack Chris Sutton mentioned before petered out, Raul Jimenez glowered at Pedro Neto for not attempting the cross.

What a ball that is from Kalvin Phillips, floated across to the back post delightfully but Wolves clear their lines. Luke Ayling then has a battering ram of a shot charged down.

Yep, the Leeds players really flooded back there. It was impressive stuff.

There was a difference is desire between the teams there. Pedro Neto ran a long way to get into the box but only Raul Jimenez was there.

Ah that's a waste. Leeds have a free-kick which is nodded out and Wolves can counter. They free Pedro Neto down the right but he rather runs down a blind alley and ends up giving away a foul.

Any danger of a goal today lads?

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Wolves do have Marcal on the bench who can play on the left, and Max Kilman can do a job there (on Football Manager anyway). It's Romain Saiss who has been handed the gig for now though.

  9. 'Saiss playing on the left is not ideal'published at 20:22 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

There are signs that Wolves are weathering the earlier storm.

It's not ideal that Romain Saiss is playing out on that left-hand side though. A square peg there.

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Wolves haven't had a shot yet. They've been pushed right back by this flying Leeds start.

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Helder Costa is not Figo but he's a pretty good winger - the former Wolves man links up well with Patrick Bamford and then smashes a shot wide from the corner of the area.

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Daniel Podence can carry on. Luke Ayling charges up from his position on the right of a back three and after a poor touch he is late in the recovery tackle and has to go into the book.

Daniel Podence gets a bit of a slap across the chops, not much in it but he's down for ages and needs some treatment. Finger in the eye job?

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 9 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Super high intensity start from Leeds, it's like watching on fast forward when compared to the day's earlier game.

Helder Costa goes down inside the area as he goes over Joao Moutinho's foot but there's no penalty given.

Corner instead, and Rodrigo puts it over.

  16. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 7 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Are there loads of Wolves fans on the Algarve now?

Leeds have the ball in the back of the net as Patrick Bamford heads in but the flag was long since up.

Bamford has had a hand in four goals in his four league starts against Wolves (3 goals, 1 assist), last facing them with Middlesbrough in March 2018 (scored in a 1-2 defeat).

Ah yes that's it, it's basically Wolves, ex-Wolves + Ronaldo in that Portugal squad these days.

Leeds continue their sharp start as Luke Ayling gets a dangerous ball in.

Mateusz Klich was man of the match for Poland in midweek and that's an early brilliant ball to bisect the Wolves defence and free up Helder Costa, his cross is cut out though. Patrick Bamford then screws a shot wide from a clever Rodrigo flick.

  20. 'Leeds will start on the front-foot'published at 20:03 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It looks like Leeds are setting up with a back three. What we definitely know is that they will start on the front-foot and put Wolves under pressure.
