Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
Another chance for Wilfried Zaha. He's probably offside anyway but he's unmarked as he heads it well wide.

Another chance for Wilfried Zaha. He's probably offside anyway but he's unmarked as he heads it well wide.
Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
Every time Fulham lose the ball, Palace look like scoring on the break. Again, it's played through to Wilfried Zaha on the left side of the box.
He forces a save from a tight angle at the near post.

Fulham are seeing a lot of the ball but they are playing Russian roulette with it. They are dong all their best work in an 18-yard area in the centre of the pitch. If they lose it there Crystal Palace are at their throat.
Get the ball wide and find Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Ademola Lookman's feet look fast today - double fast. He's causing Palace all sorts of problems.
Scott Parker must be scratching his head wondering how his side are 1-0 down.
Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
Wilfried Zaha tries to pick out Michy Batshuayi with a diagonal pass but it just skips away from him.
Nice run though and he'd have been in. Batshuayi gives Zaha a thumbs up.
Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
The free-kick is played short to Ademola Lookman from Tom Cairney but he's skewed it well wide.
Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
Fulham are flicking it about really nicely. Ademola Lookman wins a free-kick off Andros Townsend on the left.
Palace are having to defend a lot but they're still a goal up!

There is far too much space given to Crystal Palace, but that reverse pass by Wilfried Zaha was quality. Jairo Riedewald arriving in the box proving they want to get forward in numbers.
But they've done a number on Fulham really. Won the ball, counter-attack and they've scored.
Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace
Aleksandr Mitrovic's touch is a little sloppy and another chance, created by Ademola Lookman, goes begging.
Ademola Lookman then rattles the post with another speedy run in from the left. (does he or is that a save?)

That is a typical Palace goal, that's all I can say about it. They've not really had any possession.
That should set the tone now for a very difficult afternoon for Fulham because the way Palace are set up, once they go ahead they're very difficult to beat.
Definitely Jairo Riedewald who scored that - had a copy and paste nightmare!
Jairo Riedewald
It's his first goal for Palace.
And that's the threat of Wilfried Zaha. Palace break quickly through Zaha. He forces a save from the keeper and it comes back to him on the edge of the box.
He then slips it through to Riedewald, who dinks it past the keeper and into the net from close range.
Lovely finish!

As a neutral, I find all this talk about City being in decline and Pep being overrated is truly astonishing. Let's not forget what he's achieved over the last 2 / 3 seasons despite lengthy injuries to key players like Aguero, De Bruyne, Mendy, Laporte, Fernandinho, Sane, Jesus, and Gundogan. It would be interesting to see how Liverpool would fare if they had the same injuries to contend with.

Andre-Frank Anguissa makes a lovely run across the box and links up with Ademola Lookman.
He feeds it to Aleksandr Mitrovic but his shot is blocked. It's all Fulham!
Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace
Aleksandr Mitrovic turns provider this time, whipping it in from the right. It flies dangerous across the six-yard box but is kept in by Antonee Robinson on the far side.
His ball in flies straight over though.

Yet another poor performance from Sterling but Pep will not take him off .. Why???
Dave
The fact stats are being wheeled out as to how 'first time for a Pep side' is a testament to how good his record is. Every time Sir Alex rebuilt a side there were calls for him to step aside and let a new kid take over. City fans relax and give him time. Two or three seasons from now, you'll be delighted he's still in your dugout.
Eddie, Plymouth
No wonder the top six want guaranteed spots and no relegation. Makes much more sense than actually winning football matches.

Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace
It's played diagnonally across to Ola Aina, who has been busy already on the right. He feeds it frst-time into the feet of Aleksandr Mitrovic but he can't quite control it and turn in the box.
Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace
Fulham win an early corner but Ademola Lookman's shot is blocked. Palace try to counter through Wilfried Zaha but the hosts win it back immediately.
Sharp start from Fulham.
Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace
Ola Aina sprints down the right to keep the ball in play near the corner flag. Tyrick Mitchell comes across to deal with it.

Off we go at Craven Cottage!
