    West Brom 0-1 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham goalscorer Harry Kane: "All about getting the breakthrough. I got a little header in. As the game opened up we created more and more chances.

"When you just have a few minutes left it’s all about defending the lead.

"They created a couple of chances in the first half and looked dangerous on set-pieces.

"In the past three games you saw in last 15 to minutes we dug deep. When it comes to March and April that when those results matter.

"We know we have a lot of big games to come after the international break

"We can start to think about who will win league in March or April time.

"We’ve probably dropped four points we shouldn’t have done this season and performances can be better."

That's a relatively comfortable save - Rui Patricio dives to his right. Jamie Vardy trying to go down the middle and Patricio saves with his legs. The agonising bit was it came back and ricocheted off the legs of Vardy and then agonisingly rolled past the side of the goal.

    Another one, stonewaller this time.

  11. 'You would think Nuno has told his team not to tackle'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Leicester 1-0 Wolves

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leicester are playing well, they are doing everything you'd want them to, moving the ball quickly, trying to create opportunities. But you would think that Nuno Espirito Santo has set his side out and told them not to tackle. They're not getting close, they're not making contact - they're just allowing Leicester to move the ball side to side. Conor Coady has just had to scream at his team to tell them to start making contact, start putting a foot in because it's so easy for Leicester at the moment.

What a pest Jamie Vardy is, hunting down every long ball over into the final third.

Never seen someone run with their arms by their side! Kilman's arm was in a natural running position and was hit point blank, never a penalty!

This one is drilled across the face of goal and a yard wide by Christian Fuchs.

That entry was a minefield to negotiate.

VAR isn't the joke. The way it is used and the offside/handball rules are the jokes. Sort these out and VAR could/should work.

    Robert in Keighley

VAR is (generally) not the issue. It's the rules that they're having to uphold.

    Jeff in Maidenhead

Don't agree with the modern handball interpretation but in the context of the last couple of years the referee had to give that.

Was going to make another joke about one of the 'lesser' teams challenging for the title this year then thought better of it.

Already had angry comments aimed at me for using the word "bully".
