    Why don't they just play domestic seasons everywhere, with no international friendlies disrupting form/injuries/fitness, and then have international "nations league/euro/World Cup" tournaments at the end of every season when players are at their peak across the month of June or July. Also during a pandemic, surely that would've made more sense for reasons that don't even need explaining.
